Wouldnt be surprised if it is damaged so ill make sure ill give it a good check when i do finally get it.
Mine is coming lunchtime today, but I must admit to being very dubious about it. I will give it a thorough going over. And if I have read Pixmania's T&C's correctly you only have 7 days with their larger stuff.
Its a couple of kilo's over ParcelForces maximum weight!!!Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -

Yup!! I made the same mistake, and I cannot see Parcelforce working on a Saturday
Well I am still waiting for this TV. Done a fair amount of ringing around this morning.
The TV is held at Medway Parcelforce depot and has been since the early hours of the 3rd. Its restricted that's why it has not been delivered. Parcelforce will contact me to pick it up.
Emails flying back and forth with Pixmania. They are starting an investigation!?!
I really do not want this TV now after it has sat in a Parcelforce depot for 4 days.
Still want the TV but not this one.

after all that it has to go back. Picture is way of to the right. nothing on the outside to correct it. Had half an hour on the phone to LG He told me there was a button on the front to move the picture there is not! So then Pixmania and they are sending me a returns note.

Are you sure you've not inadvertantly pressed a feature like picture in picture or have some other setting incorrect. I know of a few people with these and no-one has reported any problems and certainly nothing like that. There's an "ok" button on the front of mine - is this what the LG guy means for you to move the picture or does he mean use the menu?
As it's there, why not explore the menu options to see if it isn't a really simple fix?0 -
I am not happy with mine either , there is bit in the corner which looks melted and also there was lots of silver paint on the black rim and also on the screen
Seems as it was built very poorly indeed :mad:0 -

Well, you've got to speak as you find. Mine looks the business. Brand new, in perfect condition. Received in two days from date of order - sent from Paris so it pays to use DHL. Nothing wrong with Pixmania in my eyes then.
If you're fed up with it then send it back. Unfortunately, if it's a return and there's nothing wrong with it, they may charge you for the pick up - even Amazon deduct return postage if there's no problem.
Anyway, I feel great about my purchase and so do quite a few others if you look around the web so if anyone is debating whether to buy, try and make a balanced judgement and don't be put off by a couple of bad experiences here;)0 -
But i do class workmanship as being fault , so that means you can buy anything and if its all scratched up or dented that fine you have to live with it!!!
Like i am going to pay for someone to pick this tv up it would cost me a fortune...0
