I worry when I see your posts. Maybe you and technology are not mutually compatible?
That may sound harsh but....
At 61 words really do not bother me, so no offence taken, because I do agree with you I am rapidly becoming a technophobe [if that's a word]. But I can muddle through with a PC, a mobile phone and usually work the Tv out. But, 2 marriages 2 kids and I still cannot understand women!! Now where's my zimmerframe.
As to the TV I am hoping that I can get them to send a tech. out to it!!
What are you using for your source; Freeview? Sky+?
Make sure your output settings on the STB are set to 'Widescreen/16:9'.
And how are you connecting it? Does it do it on DVDs/PC linked up?
If so ISF calibration would be able to improve this, but thats expensive and you may as well send it back if its a genuine fault on the panel.0 -
I put the cd into the pc for the Manuel which is far better than the book. But the controls for altering the screen size do not work.
Perhaps someone can enlighten me. In the screen menu the only function that is not greyed out is ARC is that the same on yours.
Alas its going back. Now the wife does not want to lose it! But i am assured they have further stock coming in on the 9th Today.
Not looking forward to wrapping and boxiong this thing up.
I will keep you informed. But for others the picture is great and the sounds OK too.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
Can anybody confirm if this comes with the stand? thanks0

It comes with A stand, which is integral to the screen You have to take this off if you want to wall mount or otherwise put the screen on an equipment stand. I got a good one from Ikea, which houses all the gear and the screen stands on top - looking quite gorgeous I must say:D0 -
I am surprised this thread has ended so quickly.
Those who have one, how are you getting on with it?
No problems to report?
Mine, alas goes back today on an exchange but the tech bods have to check it first in France! So can take up to three weeks to replace!! Which is no good to me whats so ever as I am away for 5 weeks from March 3rd.
Will keep all informed of developmentsBe ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -

Here in spain i use those traval adapter plugs all the time....just the simple ones tho,the type you get in poundland at 2 for a pound, never ever seen a problem caused by these plugs, kettles, toasters, grills, tvs sky digiboxes these are high power drain appliances and the plugs are fine.Did you just try the tv alone, without any dvd, video, and suchlike attached,if so it seems the tv has a problem.................hope it all gets sorted to your satisfaction....brianPolitical?....I dont do Political....well,not much!0
