Great to see you soappie... Not sure how you found your way over here (i thought you'd given up on MSE) but I'm glad you did! I'd invite you over to meet OH and check he's suitable, but I think you'd scare him

Appointment can't be rescheduled, but we've known about it since January, so there will be a lot of talking in the next couple of weeks and the appointment may well take a long time.

Seriously, I'm in deep doo-doos. All sorts of !!!! has hit my home based fan in the last seven months and it's a wonder I'm still sane...

But I'll shut up and duck out of this thread now because it's not fair to hijack it..

Bloody hell Greenbee - I nip off to do the ironing and you move a man in :rotfl

Actually I did the ironing whilst conducting a Gold Medal flirting session with an old mate from London - which has cheered us both up no end.:D

And my Mum called - to say she is taking the boys away for a week to a caravan in July - Oh!! and I need to come too to do the cooking - Yay for Mums :T:T

I'm not sure I'd take your mum up on the offer... You get to do the cooking somewhere less convenient and comfortable than your own home? Surely a holiday would be not having to cook/wash up etc... I'd send the boys off if I were you and stay at home eating chocolate and drinking wine!

Thanks. I was about to type"things can't get worse" but, actually, when I think on a global scale, they could so I'll type instead: "I pray they don't get worse"

In her defence she is taking the boys whilst I gally my vant - off to Leeds and London on my tod .............. and the joke in our family is how we all learned to cook in self defence :rotfl:
