Sunshiney stuff in the sky so dh is going to take the monsters out to a park with a picnic for the day while I beaver away at reports and planning (I know I said never on a Sunday but the scarlet fever cuddles set me back a few days so needs must) but going to spell the work with 15 mins gardening or stitching to help relax me in between.

Very excited for your birthday MG

Hope you haven't had a "rupture" during the night Igamogam - I saw pictures of Wales in the rain yesterday -and frankly it looked like Scotland does, grey, dreicht and sooooo much rain falling. Hope you get some respite now

Happy to report all is quiet and more to the point not raining:j even have a line of washing out:)

Back to work tomorrow - doom and gloom - havent thought about it for a week.

Spending a quiet day salvaging the garden from the ravages of wind rain slugs and snails:mad:

Did a bad thing this morning........bad in that it went against all my instincts!Picked up a traumatised baby rabbit from middle of road - dead sibling ( I assume) nearby - have told aspiring vet DD2 once it perks up and is eating its going back - looking good..... so we will drop it off in the vicinity this evening. We care but are not sentimental:D

Igamogam - as a country girlie you should know better - mind you I prob would have done the same ............. but DS1 would bet terrified I would start looking up rabbit recipes.

I did tellyou all about how embarrassed I got when one of the Mentors was chatting along for months about his "long eared hens" - slowly it dawned on my that he was actually breeding rabbits for meat - Doh!!!

Crayon Roll made for birthday party (DS2 wee pal not mine) so off we go for an hour of bouncy castle fun LOL

I have 8 avocados (49 for 2) and 4 mangoes (95p for 2). I'm quite happy to eat them as they are, but could be persuaded to try something different if there are any suggestions...

Have bought bedding for the spare room as I realised my parents may be staying at the end of this week. So more laundry to add to the holiday stuff and bedding I changed before I left.... Towels are on the line and I need to put more on and text my lovely ironing lady as there will be LOTS for her to pick up tomorrow!

I am all bouncy castled out - and all the kids behaved really well and sat and ate and said please and thank-you .................... now we got the kids trained time to start on the grown-ups LOL

Got a mountain of ironing to plough through - so I am hitting it hard before my bahookie hits the sofa.

French Open tennis rained off - boo hoo:(

Taking bunny back to its own patch later tonight - its now much chirpier!

I have a recipe for rabbit stew:
Take one buck rabbit and put in pan with carrots onions celery potatoes and an axe head. Cover with water and boil. When axe head soft give rabbit another 15 mins;)

My news for the day... OH has called, he has told his kids he is moving in with me and is bringing some of his stuff over on Tuesday (I was so surprised I forgot to ask when he is actually moving in, but suspect it will be determined by when his financial and parenting paperwork is signed). I have some serious decluttering to do :o as there really isn't room for his stuff!

Most scary thing is next hospital appointment is in a couple of weeks and we need to talk about kids before that and make some decisions...

Are you ok with that GB? If so, then at blimmin' last eh :)

I suffered a bizarre phenomenon today - I went to Sainsburys to get milk, and ended up booking a holiday (to Zante). I go next Sunday. YAY!

Slightly nervous now it looks like really happening, but yep, it's about time. His kids don't get why he doesn't make the most of his freedom :D

Sounds like a very successful shopping trip. Make sure you provide a full report when you get back!
