Morning ladies
Having a great day so far.
Clootie to the rescue with a fabulous gift of a DVD player :j:j(replacing the one we have to wiggle the back connections to get to work) Every Saturday you can think of me and the boys having our "Film Night" without losing the movie halfway through :T:T Starting with the "Ice Age" series!!
Green and black Choccies (not a big chocolate head but love these)
A vase from DS1 - lovely colour
A Buddha light for my garden form DS2 (I sniff a Granny influence).
and .................... from my Mums best friend, the Lurpack offer (2 pats of butter and a Brownie Tin" ............ how fabulous is that?:D
Best of all - two cards from my two best boys. Seahorse and Dolphins - heavy on the glitter and sparkly stuff. Makes my heart sing.
Now I have a busy day finishing something huge for my life / career. But I need to drop the kids at school and have a calm think about how to explain it on here without it sounding crazy. Mr F is doing a lot f hand-holding today - but is proving
"You can teach a Old Dog new Tricks" :rotfl::rotfl:
.............. and its going to take me about an hour to respond to all the wishes on the blog, email and facebook.
Its going to be a great day - and is shaping up to be a FABULOUS year ahead
Today the old brave me is up and dressed with her Superhero knickers outside her tights :rotfl:

Happy Birthday MG!
I have a day of cleaning ahead of me. Getting the house ready for the onslaught of family later this week. Hubby is feeling ill and is in bed. Dotty is off colour as well. Mum is off to see my in laws for lunch today, so at least i will have the house free for a bit. I might be being a bit unfair, but I do rather feel that Hubby's poorliness has something to do with the fact that he doesn't want to do any housework. He has rather been spoiled with me doing it all and Mum chipping in over the last 3 weeks. Hmmm.
Right.. it is 8.30, I have cleared all my emails and facebook bits and I have caught up here as well. Looks like it is time to get on with housework then. My news for the day... OH has called, he has told his kids he is moving in with me and is bringing some of his stuff over on Tuesday (I was so surprised I forgot to ask when he is actually moving in, but suspect it will be determined by when his financial and parenting paperwork is signed). I have some serious decluttering to do
as there really isn't room for his stuff!
Most scary thing is next hospital appointment is in a couple of weeks and we need to talk about kids before that and make some decisions...
Have to de-lurk to wish you both all the best for the future.
Happy Birthday, MG.

Thanks CSBTW your absence has been noted on flylady as well as soappie's... You are both missed! (Although it's more fun over here...)
I have been for a walk this morning in the pouring rain with a friend, and we rewarded ourselves with a coffee and a gossip! Wet clothes are still in a pile in the utility room as I decided not to walk through the house dripping!
Finally remembered my work password, so I am logging on to catch up with admin. New bedding has had two washes, and I am debating a third before shoving it in the TD (there is no way it will dry any other way today!). Kitchen blitz is ongoing...
Guess I should have a shower and get some work donehave a great day everyone

Happy Birthday MG !
Inset day + dreary very wet weather = how on earth do I get some errands done and a medium boy entertained without us getting too wet? Answers please - :rotfl:
Actually we have some fixed things to work around, like the lovely plumber currently servicing the boiler and a physio appt. I guess we'll just run faster on the outside bits to miss the raindrops... and for fun a requested cooking session later with a movie after.
laters ladies,
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0
