I hope you've been having fun :D I have used all the improvement works as an excuse, but I really do need to get to grips with it now. So despite the fact that every time I clean another layer of dust is applied I am trying to declutter, tidy, deep clean AND do maintenance cleaning. I'm hoping that being at home for the next couple of months will help. I know that OH moving in probably won't  Although some of the odd jobs might get done :D

Fun? Mmmm  I believe 'challenge' is the accepted description.:rotfl:

MA dissertation year (and I hate writing!)

Tutor makes comments about 'notes', need for 'focus', need to 'link'.

But I have this unjustified hope that somewhere in the middle of this pile of waffle there might be enough material to produce something recognisable.

  • Blimey, I wondered why the thread was so quiet and so far down the list. I think everyone must be shocked into silence.

I totally agree, MG, you need to dedicate more time and resources to your goal and I will definitely be keeping up with MFi3.

I would love a thread featuring all the old names to continue, just for the support and chat and to see everyone's current plans and projects come to fruition.

I haven't been around for so long, I haven't even been able to keep my diary up to date due to progession in my future plans and debt free journey, although I have read this thread, usually when I nip away from my desk or when I am relaxing in the bath.

I don't suppose we all have to have a 'leader' do we? Can't someone just start a thread and we can continue to chat etc?

Well, that's my little bit of banter for today! I hope all are well as can be expected and the weather isn't being too cruel.

Good luck MG. I'm still going to be visiting your MFi3 but can't get onto the other side.

Take care all, hopefully we'll all cross paths again soon

Agree with the fact that we could carry on in some other way as MG won't want my inane daily ramblings sat on her forum and I need somewhere to spout (unless she sets up a Gove-hating page!)

Today has been a day of aaaarggh too much to do and no time but for once I actually let people help me rather than trying to do it al myself, and I made a conscious decision to not go running tonight and to sit and do school reports instead as runtime+recovery time=too much time when reports have to be in on Friday. Seriously I am in danger of becoming a responsible adult if I'm not careful:rotfl:

Wowsers - so much has been going on since I had a little break from MSE (mainly due to having sleeping sickness).

Happy Belated Birthday MG - I am sad to see you go but I shall keep up with your blog and see you on FB.

I agree with Aesop that this thread should keep going as it offers to much to people. Must admit that I am not that good at making stuff although when I have a proper cooker then I hope to start making things like jam etc.

Hopefully the Universe will deliver a job for me - something to keep the wolf from the door whilst I forge ahead with my life and my own business (it may be dormant but it isnt forgotten). The Matrix will keep me sane.

I agree with keeping the thread going for all the support it gives people and also I believe MG would like to see it continue. I would start the new thread if anyone can give me pointers with the more tchie bits.

Had devestating news yesterday, my SIL has anal cancer(treatable) and is having a colostomy bag fitted today. Please spare as many positive thought and vibes as possible.
