Hugs for all the poorlies and ouchies and hugs for Hopeful too x
Housey day today - DS is tired, snuffly and grumpy and weather is dull so going to be a lot of snuggles today.
Having issues with a couple of local kids who have been posting stuff (rubbish/road grit) through the letter box and woke up late this morning to find a full doggy poop bag sat on our drive so want to stay in to thank them in person:mad:Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Hi Guys! I'm at a friend's house just to log on and say hello - oh how I've been missing you all! The house move went fine, all is well, I absolutely love the new house but have no landline yet - big deprivation! BT will get round to doing something about it (a cabling problem in the neighbourhood) on 16 May. So I and my neighbours have no phone or internet, and I was gutted to go to the library on Saturday morning, hoping to get online, to find it closed for the holiday weekend.
It'll be Wednesday before I can get online again, and will look forward to catching up on everyone's news. I've seen MG has a kidney infection, I hope you feel better soon MG.

Hugs and best wishes to everyone! xoxIf you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

Oh MG! So sorry you are feeling crook! If I was closer i would come in and make sure your little house kept ticking over while you were under the weather. As it is, I shall send lots of get well vibes.
I too am seeing the doctor this morning. Need a repeat prescription of the anti-depressants (lower dose hopefully!) and I am going to get some anti-biotics for this cough/chest infection I have. Although I still do not feel 100%, I certainly feel better than I did yesterday. I did go to choir practice, didn't sing a great deal, but still learnt a lot.
Dog has already had walk 1 for the day, I am dressed and ready for action, menagerie all fed breakfast, and I am ready for what today has in store for me. Not going to make many plans, but have a nice pottery sort of day I think. I still need to rest.
Lots of love to you all. Have a good day...!"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -
MG - Hope you start to feel a bit better soon, probably be a few days before the antibiotics kick in, but look after yourself in the meantime.
Crickett - I sympathise with the cough/chest infection, hope the doc gives you the correct anti b, as I have now had three different types for the same chest infection which keeps coming back. Am near the end of this lot, but I still feel unwell, still coughing, still got pain in my chest and breathless if I walk upstairs. This really does not sit well with me, I am normally pretty fit so I hate not having the energy to get on with things.
Think a group hug ((( ))) for all the poorlies is required! Positive vibes for all of us that we get better soon.
Oh, and congratulations Groatie, glad you are in and loving the new house.Sealed pot Challenge 2011 member No 1241 - Final total £154.21

MG - I have spares of anti-bs for kidney infections, I could have sent them up to you
Crickett - if they say you need anti-bs, as Claudiac says, make sure you understand what they are giving you and ask them to explain why. Most bugs are now immune to penicillin, but I was still prescribed Penicillin V which didn't work and had to have something stronger when OH informed them I was getting worse.
Have nearly finished packing. Have done some work, booked my car service, paid a bill and ordered the spare bed. Need to do the washing up and leave for my massage appointment, otherwise sitting on the plane over the next four days will be very unpleasant!0
