What are your plans for this Bank Holiday weekend? If you are not making plans for your time - who is? And you love that or resent that?
Oh Boy - so my washing machine is on, bread maker churning, soup in slow cooker, bathroom has been cleaned and I am about to put away the last of my ironing ...................... I am NOT spending the Bank Holiday weekend doing housework.
Off to see how much I can cram in before the school run

Oh that's food for thought.
My plans:- Visit OHs parents tonight to pick up his sick note for the next week (hopefully last) dictated by him and his parents timing wise at least
- Go to the cinema tomorrow to see Avengers again this time at the cinema I wanted to go to originally, probably our only cinema trips this year so I don't mind going twice.
- Visit my parents on Monday for food and chit chat. They offered it and I don't mind as free food and conversation plus the Tyne tunnel toll is already pre paid for.
Other than that its housework for me, will see if OH is up to helping out, he needs to start pushing himself more if he's going back to work in a week. At least he's been coming to the shops with me this week. Was very good yesterday and only bought what I needed although I did buy a copy of Private Eye too, haven't bought one in about a year and I'll pass it on to my Dad afterwards to read.

My bank holiday weekend has changed from our original plans to being 90% about what OH wants on Saturday and then he's working Sunday and Monday so now haven't got a clue how to fill the time. As I have to now use my holiday allowance towards the time (still exploring this with ACAS mind you) I feel that I don't want to waste it.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

MG a while ago you posted some tips on how to avoid blushing. My DD1 is very self conscious (sp) especially when speaking to teachers and of course the rest of the class point it out which makes it worse. Could you post those tips again?
Many Thanks

Morning All,
Having made the decision yesterday to have the rest of the week off and rest, my total exhertion yesterday was to finish the ironing and my book:jFeel much better for it.
Just how much sleep can a person have?
So far this morning, dishwasher emptied, recycling out, kitchen cleaned , ironing moved upstairs so progress made today.
Just very little baby steps the order of the week here.Debt at start of DMP 1/6/09: £2942 - £1942

Morning peeps. I will be trying to declutter and pack stuff away ready for a move (it could be Christmas time at this rate:mad:). I will also go and see my parents and spend time with them.
Did not sleep particularly well last night due to intense eye pain - painkillers don't help so I have to put up with it. At least my eye feels less painful as this morning I have taken my drops. Drove to the shops this morning (I could have walked but didnt feel so inclined), Ald* seems to have taken off big style as the carpark (not very big) was packed and the shop equally so. I managed to spend £7 buying store cupboard items e.g. sausages, sugar, biccies, conference pears and some plant labels. Thought I would try some oatcakes too - not had them before.
Came home found a padded envelope poking out of my postbox - it contained a full size Rimmel Mascara that I have been asked to trial for Glamour magazine - I have trialed other products for them in the past, most recently a box of Special K cereal (which was too sweet and basically ewww). I received something from R*mploy too, I have been asked to attend a workshop on 24 May with a view to spending time at and possibly getting a job with Mr Marks & Mr Spencer:cool:
Need to write to vile bully too - now that my evidence gathering is now complete.0 -
Good luck with the letter
Lucielle _ will did out some stuff later - but basically it is about desensitising the situation - so lots of stress reduction (spit held in mouth) n stuff like that.
DS2 parked in livingroom with lunch as he has just had a full-blown melt-down. Wouldn't eat breakfast, out with him at Forest Kindi all morning and now he doesn't know what's wrong with him - nothing that a big sandwich and a glass of water won't cure.
Off to dentist, then to school thingie for DS1 then taking kids to their Grans - so will be back later, much later LOL

Hmm - we have a busy few days planned and are trying to get some things off the list so we can truly have a week off in half term.
If weather allows - tidy garden & greenhouse & OH's car
Indoors - the great sortout continues - we have bag2school next week, a lovely charity shop nearby, and school & village summer fayres to sort out goodies for - and any valuable treasures may head for Ebay.
In the quiet times we are building a long to do list room by room, and then attempting to figure out how & when to do it.
And in the noisy times DS will have the choice of family time, though DVD's & popcorn, and cooking, have been requested so far.
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
