Hurricane Bawbag is having a godd rattle round the house - Greenhouse is half the size it was this morning & the roof tile tally so far is 3. Will look out the insurance company dtls shortlty (when the leccy goes off) in case I need them tomorrow.
Then will curl up with a book -
Normal service will be resumed tomorrow

I now have a tidy bedroom !! just waiting for ds2 to do his room so I can get in the cupboard for clean bedding just need to hoover the floor and we are done!!

Been looking at this through this afternoon - some serious comedy Royalty been getting in on the act too. Very, very funny.

Funny moment when I checked that my Old Dears were OK at the back of four. "Come awa' in hen!! Its a bit airy 'roon the nethers" - !!!!!!!!!! The last thing I want to be thinking about is some Old Dears 76 years young "nethers" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Now we are waiting to see if the STV weatherman manages to get "Hurrican Bawbag" into the news before the 9pm watershed:D Woul dbe funny but could get him fired

Clairewop, I refuse to put the c'mas tree up till the playroom is clear. No tree, no presents :cool: I do wonder how close to the wire they will go. Good luck with yours.

I haven't done it, I refuse to struggle on my own,

I have struggled to do the bedroom cause I'm hurting myself more trying to climb over stuff to get into bed than I did clearing it, Bed is made apart from quilt cover on quilt, can't do that so dh will have to do that when he has finished putting up the shelves in ds1's room, then hopefully ds2 will have his room back as well , I will leave the hoovering till the morning now.

Evening all, shop opened yesterday. All lovely but did some very long days so day off today and only been as far as the corner shop.

Had a lovley day in the house listening to all the wild weather and feel good and ready to get back to it all tomorrow.

Hi Matrix. So much for positivity and a good mood. Had a "catch up" with my boss this afternoon and it appears that she and her boss are taking disciplinary procedures against me for "not acting in accordance with reasonable management requests". Or rather, my bosses boss decided that she had seen me on the Internet outside of work time, and therefore she is taking this to the next level. I am so angry, upset and annoyed. a) I have not been on the internet in work time and b) this is totally a sledgehammer to crack a nut.

Obviously I am upset. I had a good cry on my way home and I have decided my way forward. I am going to HR tomorrow and I am going to make this thing go away. There is not going to be any justice in this investigation that is apparently going on because my bosses boss has made her mind up. So, I am going to proffer a compromise. I am going to accept a written warning on my personnel file, whilst accepting responsibility for absolutely nothing. I am not going to admit that I have done something wrong, when I haven't but as someone who is clinically depressed and on anti-depressants, I can really do without this kind of !!!!!!!! and stress. I have also got the name of a good lawyer and I am going to see if I can get an appointment to discuss what kind of evidence I need to compile for a constructive dismissal action. I think that is what my bosses boss wants to do - get rid of me. Well, she might have won this battle but I am going to win the war, and hopefully take a pile of money off of the institution for it. I am not going to go down without a fight. They have picked on the wrong woman.

Equally obviously, I will not be going on the internet and "playing" here or on The Matrix during the day unless I am off work. So I might need to bow out for a while. I will try and keep up to date with stuff going on. And I will keep you up to date with Project Family. Though I could really use positive vibes too. Thanks ladies and sorry for bringing the energy down.

Keep warm and safe everyone. I am just about to settle down with some rubbish telly and a hot chocolate.
