Up early - thinking about you lot - and hope's that crickett is out walking the pup and stepping into her future.

For those of you who have met my two - neither of which the Doctors ever predicted, know that there is always hope. I do remember programming for a long time for DS1 and DS2 and although I love them I do wish I had thought to programme for a partner who hung around too. Might make life slightly easier to cope with.

Lara - if a little intervention from your supervisor will be such a huge help- can you not push a little to get a "perfect meeting" set up sooner?

  • Another one up early - couldn't sleep well last night so thought I may as well get up!

Have had a productive couple of hours rearranging things, so now have bags for charity shop, box of bits for Ebay, and box of bits on Ebay, and a box of I don't think this is mine so why have I got it?

And large filing session needed later, there is just too many loose bits of paper about. Baby steps, but I think I need tidyness about me to think clearly, and there is plenty of that needed.

    see you later,

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Sorry I didn't get on last night but it's a busy night with DH's acupuncture etc.

They rung yesterday to inform my DH that he has the job :j:beer::j:beer:

Turns out that after all the interviews on the day, the manager found out that one of her staff had handed in her notice creating another vacancy and as DH had done so well in the interview they wanted to give him the job :T

So just references and CRB to get through - CRB no problem but reference from work

So this will be an interesting time for my DH as he used to work with offenders by supporting them to change behaviour and integrate into society and now he will be working with older people in sheltered accomodation.

Not sure of start date but they are hoping for him to start before CRB is back and he can learn the system and shadow people. Current employment does not end until begining of May so perfect timing.

Thank you ladies on here and also to the Universe for providing.:T

I do think this was meant to be as the town his schemes are in is the town I work in which means we can carry on car sharing thus saving petrol like we used to. (The one down the road would not have been too bad as he has a truck and it is not far but my god it uses diesel )

    Thanks Again

Yay well done EE's DH. Fantastic news.
  • Excellent news EE! So pleased for you and your DH!

Last day of work, and a slightly later start. My good news for today is that the removal guy has finally quoted, and it's half of what I budgeted. So he will get a really good tip when the job is finished, and I will STILL be quids well and truly in!!

I had been thinking about Claire too GQ, hope you are ok

    Crickett, sending hugs.

Great news about job EE, sometimes these things just work out, (and don't we know it on here!)

Well done on the quote GQ, its is great when we find we have overestimated, just wish it happened more often.

Going through a quiet time here, but that is ok for now. And I think that my broccolli seeds have started sprouting yay!

Well done to your DH, EE. Very happy for you - getting a job changes the dynamics in a family.

Best of luck to all job hunting.

And you call this early? I have been up since 5.09 this morning which is scary.

  • Good morning Matrix...!

Well, MG, I wasn't walking Dotty at 6.20, but I was out of the house before 7am. Just as well I did, because it is pouring with rain now. I was going to have a shower and get dressed, but I need to take her out before I head out into town later, so I figured I would get wet in the rain and then warm up in the shower! Not sure how excited Dotty is going to be about going to play in the rain! :)

I am heading into Snottingham today to meet up with a friend, and then do a bit of window shopping, and then go to my homeopath. Then home, another walk with the beastie and then making dinner. Quite a lot to do today one way and another. I am also going to get hold of a pattern for a baby blanket and get the necessary wool for my friend's expected arrival. That will make me feel better about the pregnancy thing as well... I don't why really, but it always does!! :D

Best get on with things. Have a wonderful day Matrix. Very many congratulations to EE's OH! And Marru, that is great news. :D

    Hope clairewop is okay...!
