Finally made it back! Had a lovely Easter at my brothers but seemed to spend far too much money:eek:and no idea on what:eek:. Came back on Tuesday and then worked the rest of the week, my brithday was Saturday and I went down with a bang. All the mysterious symptoms that were beginning to abate were back with a vengance.:eek:Took stock again and realised I'd let the reigns slip a bit, not had enough rest, drunk too much, done too much and too many late nights and also it was time to up medication dose - doctor confirmed that last night. So another day or to and my mojo will be back,
House been abandonded for 2 weeks now, so today I plan to sort that out and pace myself. Do housey jobs interspersed with planning things etc.
Hope everyone has a good day and are warmer than it is here - I'm frozen.

Rain has stopped and sun is out... and in the time it took for my laptop to start up I have hoovered the hall, the doormats and the bits of the sitting room that I can get to :) I have kept the hoover out, so every time it slows down/hangs/reboots I can do a bit more... :-)

My neighbours' ugly concrete garage is now nearly completely dismantled. Hopefully the freeglers who were taking it away will come back for the rest soon, and then next door can get on with sorting out their garden - they will need new gates to stop the kids escaping, and a shed of some kind, and some kind of trellis/screen as you can now see into their garden. But they have increased the size of the garden by about 30% and got rid of an eyesore.

I also gave my tree surgeons' card to a neighbour who has a hedge of 30 foot (or higher) western cedars... he is thinking of having the whole garden landscaped etc, so if the business goes to my friends, their discounted day's work for me will have been a good investment.

    Agree completely :)

The whole point of this upheaval and reorganisation is to have things better organised so I can put them away...

Friend called, so I have done NO work :( Better get some done before I have to go out...

    Hello world...*waves*

Overslept this morning but was awake at an unearthly hour after being woken by the wind and the rain, yet this morning the sun is out.

Fab news on your letter MG:D

At the weekend mum and I were bemoaning the fact that the free Be Inspired Dunelm brochure that came with the paper didnt give the paint colours for the walls and in fact no room settings that are photographed ever give the paint colour. Well, I was on FB yesterday and visited Dunelm's page where I asked the question and they replied saying that they would find out - well they did and now I know. I was keen on the paint colour on the cover of this brochure which showed Green Jakarta Curtains - I loved the wall colour and would like that on the chimney breast - they have now confirmed that it is Dulux Colour Match Khaki Mist 5 Matt finish:j

The house saga continues as mum rang the agents yesterday because I had seen the for sale board outside the house but they denied that the house was for sale. They are miffed that the sale is taking so long so mum put them straight on that because the delay is being caused by the vendors as our solicitors requested paperwork at the beginning of March and they are still waiting:mad: Mum has also decided to increase her offer to include the carpets in the hope that the whole thing is done and dusted soon as she has told the agents that I don't want to be signed up to stay in my flat for another 6 months...good old mum for sticking with the case:D

Last night I was watching BBc4 and a programme called Beautiful Minds which featured Professor Jenny Clack a paeleantologist (sp?). Now I watched this because I remembered a teacher called Mr Clack that I had at middle school, he is remembered with affection because he taught me about fossils and identified ones that I took into school although I cannot for the life of me remember the subject he taught at school but I know it had nothing to do with fossils. Well, whose face should appear on screen showing him as I knew him - but the man himself who married this girl who worked at Birmingham Museum - the same girl who is now a Professor. I remember that Mr Clack wasn't at school for very long before he had to move to Newcastle - so it was definitely the same man.

I wonder what today will bring? More jobs are being applied for and tonight I am out at a business networking event so I will get a good dinner - I dont need to pay because I do a lot of voluntary work for the Business Club so they pay me in food:cool:

OOoh Horace - do we hear the sound of another "letter of Love" being crafted? How nice that you remember - and recognise him after all this time.

I am on my way to the other side of London to teach maths. I don't teach! We had a tutor call in sick, the replacement had a panic attack. I
was asked if I would go and said yes.,I am crazy. Means I've lost a day of work and only work 2 days.

I think tomorrow is the day of good news, I will find out if DS has go into the school I want and EE's DH will get offered a job.

No Letter of Love will be crafted for Mr Clack - I very much doubt that he would remember me because I was only 10. Sorry to disappoint MG.

I have thought of crafting a letter for Noddy Holder though as he still owes my dad £10 after dad paid for his green fees when playing golf with him one day. Dad grumbles about this even now:rotfl:

The job quest continues with some jobs being applied for today - I had to have a distraction earlier and did some FB stuff and generally mucked about.

Finally I am at my desk - everyone is fed, everything is washed and I have a Mind Map in front of me of 13 guest posts that I must sit and write to get them off of my desk and on to someone else's.

Big "clear the decks" action happening all round at the moment as MrF is just about the stage where we will be writing manuals and launching his new business so we are getting ready to support him as much as he has supported us.

Lovely man that he is has taken a few minutes out to set up a new section on the Matrix - Maria has persuaded me to upload the "Motiv8 coaching" sessions that I am doing with some ladies here in real life onto the Matrix for us all to play with.

So if you need you log-ins looked out - have a rummage, cos on Sunday evening we will be pinning up the first challenge. This is my Thank-you to the Matrix Ladies who have been so supportive of me over the last couple of years.

Loads of new beginnings all around - spring has finally sprung I think

3/13 posts written and delivered - more to follow but boys are home now so should spend a wee bit time with them.

All the other posts are will mind-mapped so should be able to rattle them out this evening and tomorrow - then they will be GONE!!!

Next in my gun-sights are 10 craft articles - lovely to-dos, so just need to cut my list of about 40 down to a reasonable 10 for approval.

Now I think a lovely dinner for the boys should be thrown together - chicken thighs, roast new tatties, corn, carrots ............. OH! and DS2 wants Yourkshires - "on a school night LOL", well I suppose the oven is on so why not?
