Ack!!! ladies - happy tears honest.

Not only did he remember me - he absolutely remembered something I did during his visit (I literally crawled under the filthy stage to repair a projector whilst he was in full flight above me)

I will get my thoughts in order and throw a post together

Lots of red wine at a guess FW :) Hope the presentation went well!

Great news MG. So lovely how it has all worked out.

Am currently doing a time and motion study at work... Supposedly to see what helps and hinders us in our working day. However, mine is telling me that today I did lots of laundry, and tidying and faffing about on FB and MSE and not that much work (actually, I did log 8.1 hours but over a 12 hour period and they weren't very productive hours!

Getting used to the new look bedroom now, however I still have a pile of jumpers that are homeless so I'm going to have to evict the spare sofa covers, duvet, pillows etc from the blanket chest and keep them in there - which is where they are meant to be. It's a camphor wood chest, so should have precious stuff in it safe from moths, not just big stuff I can't find homes for!

Tomorrow I want to start moving shoes back. However, this will take ages, as they are all going to be assessed for usefulness, cleaned/mended before they are allowed back. And work shoes will stay in the study. I think I have enough clear bags to store the work ones in too...

I suspect that although I'm good at planning to be organised, the actual being organised is probably going to be less successful.

ETA - for Lara and anyone else interested, this is the fabric my new curtains/blind etc are made from. Purchased with cash back, obviously :D The bedroom walls are ivory (dulux gardenia) which is almost exactly the background colour of the curtains. Not sure what colour the kitchen will end up... It's brilliant white at the moment. I also need to decide whether the navy lampshade, blue mirror and a blue painting can stay. I don't want to go too pink though...

    Well...

DH had his interview which went really well.

There were 2 vacancies advertised and DH applied for one which was closest. Nothing was mentioned in the interview about the other one but once he had got home they rung to ask whether he would consider the other job. Of course he said yes (it's less hours).

Now I can't help thinking that they would not have bothered to ring him if he did not have a good chance otherwise what was the point? Or am I jumping ahead of myself?

    DH will find out Wednesday.

Wonderful news EE - I should think they are pretty keen on him to phone and find out his views.

Lovely spring day up here = hammering it down, but so far I seem to be pretty organised, with kids up, fed, packed lunches done, beds made, WM on along with BM.

Yesterday was a bit of a Meh!!! productivity wise - so here's hoping today will fly in.
