I guessed what your link was going to be as I saw that too on the news and had the same reaction. There seems to be a huge interest in the Titanic which I must admit I've never shared - not intending to see the film any time soon in either 2D or 3D but each to his/her own.
Hope you feel better soon BTW Clootie's mum0 -
Oh yes, happy easter and chocolate munching one and all :easter_ba and happy 4th birthday MG DS2 :bdaycake:0

Hi All
Living in Belfast it's been impossible not to get caught up in the commemerative celebrations (especially as I work in the Titanic Quarter) from the opening of the Titanic Signature Building last weekend to the fabulous light show last night. There's such a buzz about the city and for once its not for a negative reason and although people do think it's odd to 'celebrate as my Belfast-born Husband is fond of say 'She was alright when she left Belfast....'

DS2 in the bath -with his blow-up Cal Mac Ferry:rotfl:
20 minutes and the kitchen has been sorted - clean surfaces, floor swept, washing up done and ready to wash floor.
Living room has been returned to normality with the new pressies popped in the play cupboard, table wiped and floor hoovered.
The place looks a million times more respectable than it did when psychopathbabble popped in - still, on a birthday its a more take us as you find us kind of thing.
DS2 says "thank you to the pretty Matrix Lady" for his Easter nest and chick .................... well it is his birthday so "let him eat cake" is my motto.
She is BTW - pretty I meanThink you have made a hit pyscho :rotfl:
So time to tackle the ironing and corral all the washing back into the case again in time for our next "Adventure" - instead of it littering every surface.
Please tell me that I will one day have my tidy house back

Happy 4th Birthday to your young lad!4 is a very important age, so I recall!
I have some wonderful news....! I FINALLY worked out how to get back into the Matrix!!YIPEEEE! Just done some catching up on what has been happening, and reading a couple of bits. It has got my pulse racing a bit... I have some really ace ideas swimming around my head at the moment! I feel a mind map in my near future!
I hope everyone has had a wonderful Easter day, and eaten their own body weight in chocolate! It is the law you know!"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -

Morning ladies - just cuddling up with the wee one on the sofa as re recounts his exploits of yesterday and his adventure of the week before.
The kids loved their trip away so much - just as well it was as frugal as we could manage.... all big ones sharing the car (inc dog) little one and retired one did it on their bus pass.
All food planned and packed from stores and apart from a trip to the pool nothing spent whilst we were away (actually I bought half a cucumber on the Friday as well)
Kids took their own saved up money for souvenirs - although bib boy chose three postcards and little one a blow-up ferry:rotfl:
So in the final total, I spent just a smidge over our usual weekly budget ................. but the fun they had was priceless.
Loads of photos now over on the blog for those that like pretty views and lowering skies

We did lucielle - next time I will try hinting that taking a largely unplanned holiday in the first week of the month may not be such a brilliant idea.;)
All my DD go out on the first week - and although I now "save" for them over the month it still feels like an expensive time of the month IYSWIM.
But seemed to survived relatively financially intact - and the boys had a brilliant time................. there may even be enough in the budget to stash a bottle of something for my trip to Manchester.
Did I tell you guys that I had bought DS1 a proper sketch pad for his trip - and that we spent lots of time sketching and talking? What a wonderful way to connect with a big boy - and he is pretty darn good at drawing too.
In fact let me see if I can scan a picture or two in next to the photos.

ETA Woohooo - managed to scan in two castle pictures - Mr F would be so proud of meFINALLY AND OFFICIALLY DEBT FREESmall Emergency Fund £500 / £500
