Well done Dora - you will have that Frog well and truly chomped before you know it.
More of the same chez MFinthree today - some cake baking, some washing and some packing. The holiday may be MSE - but Boy Oh Boy it still takes just as much organising.
Also need to do some writing today - just in case I can't get online next week.
BTW - we have frost on the slates - anyone else have a Coooolllllddd night? Sunny though so could be a great drying day.

Frosty here too, but a bright sunny day. More packing for me today. Then a free cuppa at my usual haunt, by way of reward.
I had a final check in the eaves last night, to make sure they were completely empty, and hanging up on a hook in a dark corner, presumably left 14 years ago by the previous occupants, I found, of all things, chest expanders LOL. So the next charity shop bag has its first item in it!
I hope everyone has a great day.If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

All the baking is done - on with the packing. What is it with boys and odd socks????

Ground to a severe halt last night with nasty tummy bug, me and dd fighting for the loo, not a pretty sight. Ds has been a star today, has brought us cups of water and cuddles and has mostly fed himself from the contents of the fridge!Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Oh no, hope it passes soon Dora. I've cleaned the bathroom, kitchen, meal planned and food shopped (still not doing very well at reducing this
). Just the hoovering to do after a well earned half hour sit down!

Yay for holiday time! :T And a definite 'yes' to warm snuggly food like soup! I think the weather predicted for this week could be a real shock to the system!!One step at a time0 -
Have a wonderful holiday MG!
We shall miss you, but keep the place warm for you for when you get back!
So, today is my first day of official freedom. I have been busy already, but I need to remember to break things up into 15 minute chunks. I have done one chunk already (dishes) and I am about to go and do another (drying up, putting away and wiping down kitchen counters). I have lots of things on my list today.
I am especially proud of my little family. Yesterday, Hubby and I took Dotty off for the longest walk she has had - we did 2.5 miles and went to see a local archeological project which had an open day. Dotty met Grandma and Grandad (Alan's Mum and Step Dad) and they immediately fell in love with her! And then we walked back. Dotty did so well! I managed to get a really good extendable lead for her, and she loves it!And then when we came home and after everyone had a quick nap, the cats started to come down into the living room. Alfie stayed for a good 20 minutes. Everyone is still really cautious with one another, but considering that Dotty has only been with us for 3 days, everyone is doing so well!
Right... off to do the dishes etc and then onwards with my list!"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440
