Off to feed some children - can't see why, I fed them last night:D

Give them gruel, make them watch Oliver & tell them they should be grateful:p

I'm off to the workhouse too... First time since Christmas lunch :D I'm not sure how anyone is going to hear me in the meeting, but they'll just have to keep quiet and concentrate! At least I can take my expenses in and not get chased for receipts.

Breakfast is eaten, so i guess I should go and dry my hair, clean my teeth, think about putting some makeup on and try to locate a suit that fits! Hope the carpenter is on time for once... I have warned him that if h'e isn't here at 9am there won't be anyone to let him in...

Dorastar - annoy the doctor as much as you need too - we would miss your singing voice (singing whisper doesn't have the same ring about it)

    Have a good day folks.....

Eek believe this to be Greenbee as I have just been singing in the shower and feeling grand - will pass on the vibes her way! Icklies all off to childminders as dh on earlies so I have a house to myself - eerily quiet - might have to go to work early:eek:

Having a Faberge hen is a brilliant idea; how do we make it come true :)?

Well, I was up early again but without the angst and uncertainty - now I know I'll finish this piece of writing soon. Everytime this calm feeling comes over me I am ready to go full steam. It is another matter that nothing else exists apart from the writing. Examples?

Yesterday, OH and I went shopping; when finished I started going on about the wallet and that he's forgotten it. He was killing himself laughing because I was holding the blasted thing!

Early senility (very early) or total focus? You decide.

Pre-senile dementia FW? Maybe you should just claim eccentricity which is your right as an academic ;)

Just dropping back in quickly because I forgot to say good luck to Marru. Here's hoping that the other side don't have anything to contest your position.

Huge hugs ((((((Marru)))))). I hope everything goes as well as possible today, and that it's a weight off your shoulders. Work sounds difficult, hang on in there.

Clootie - amazing list of round tuits! Can't believe that people said Everest for England's highest mountain (although I had to google the correct answer :p). Hehe. Not surprised nobody knew the correct number of countries, amazing people think Northern Ireland is in Euroland - even my OH when I first met him

Greenbee - good luck with the floor. I found varnish to be very high-tech these days. I used Ronseal, the one with the little mop applicator thingy in the top of the carton. It was great - very good finish I don't think I would have achieved otherwise.

MG - Glad to hear the bullying situation is progressing. You're so right building up a case including other parents. I hope it gets sorted soon.

Book club went really well last night. HM pizzas went down well. We had a new member who brought fab desserts, champagne and cake!! So a little the worse for wear this morning.

However dressed and in my office - trying to stick to the 30 day challenge.

    TADA!!!!!!

DS1 has been nominated by his Teachers for a "Leadership Training Programme" - and he has been accepted.

As you can guess he is feeling pretty pleased with himself today.

I bet he will learn loads about how to be a great leader - as opposed to a petty dictator. Hopefully boost his confidence too.

Time to get busy - but first some filing I have been putting off
