My colleague brought these to me she went over there recently so I should be ok.

And I hope to get over there for an interview later this month.

So, has new baby arrived? :A

Good morning all! There's some very noisy birds outside today, but I love getting up to the sound of them.

I'm not sure the youngest will be fit for nursery again today. He's not up yet but has woken numerous times in the night coughing and spluttering. If not, I'll have to whip him into work with me, as I desperately need to photo copy some info for a meeting I'll chairing in the morning. I'm praying he won't need to be at home tomorrow as I'll have to cancel too many appointments.

Have a good day everyone :)

    Salted liquorice :D

Feeling better today as I remembered that ex wanted me to do the pickup from 60 miles away (i.e. two hour and 120 mile round trip) but he was ordered to bring her back to my house. Good thing as I can't afford the diesel.

Thank you ladies for all your good wishes and support, I have five more jobs that I can apply for, also should be hearing from my old employer any day now. If not I am going to email one of the partners that I worked with a lot when I was still there if he could put a word in for me.

Yay!!! I managed my first cuppa of the year in the garden - or in the disaster that is my garden:rotfl:

Mind you I was in coat and gloves -but still, I was there.

So busy, busy day here - cracking on with the Roadside rescue challenge and the next book to mind map.

Have so many "round tuits" jobs to do on the house - everything got put on hold because I was paying off the debt. Then of course winter settled in , sigh!!!

So I am thinking that I may just have to roll my sleeves up and start at the front gate and work my way through the house - some free-i-y jobs to keep me busy. I'm sure there is plenty I could actually do without spending very much money. Maybe I should just do a job a day until it is all done.

I've checked and double checked - but I don't think the tax credit changes are going to affect us very much which is a huge relief - just in case though I had better get my garden planted.

So off to make a cuppa to warm my hands and then feed the boys / pack the lunches.

Have a busy day ladies - and I hope the baby came safely Lara.

Thinking about opportunity cost MG - start with the bits that impact on your ability to take in lodgers (DS2s room, then lodgers rooms, then other rooms they will be using - bathroom, living room, kitchen - then the bits they will see on the way to view the rooms - so from the front gate in). Then your garden, as it feeds you (you could do one DIY and one garden task a day), then the bits of the house that only you and the boys use...

Suppose I should do some work, then once the carpenter is here, off to try to get a doctors appointment and stock up on cough sweets again :)

Well a bonus day off work albeit for yet another hospital appointment for yet another scan on another part of my body.Appointment time means I would have to leave work after half an hour of getting there and and similarly no point going after.Sooooooooooooo what to do to make use of the time...............................starting the day with a swim then I think a tidy up. May get in the garden.Must not forget to go to hospital :rotfl:

That's why I was thinking start at the front gate - because then the two letting rooms are first inside the door - get the kerbside appeal and the rooms done pronto.

Back from swim - why is it I always get to share the lane with the hairy torpedo. Heck the bow wave every timed he ploughed past was like a ruddy tsunami. I guess is second only to elderly ladies who have no sense of lane discipline and wear ill fitting-sagging-in-the-wrong-places swim wear - invest in some decent Lycra I say ( men too) :) Not that I have anything against the elderly keeping fit - just keep to your side of the lane and your body parts safely inside your swimwear

Have got DW on and a line of washing out. Relit the Aga - really not warm enough yet to go without - it went out Monday night and me and DD2 gave it a try last night without but it was just too chilly:p Have hung 2 sets of bedroom curtains that I bought on Eb*y - bargain Laura A ones and perfect fit :)

Plan a tidy up with uninterrupted radio 4............can smell the coffee so will have one of those with a couple of twinks then off I go:rotfl:
