In other news, I answered a tweet from a journalist who is looking for women who save hundreds of pounds by using vouchers and other moneysaving ways to save money. I have responded and sent her an email as she is looking for such enterprising ladies for various women's mags:cool:

just a word of warning Horace. You probably already know they s e x up the article to suit themselves and will edit things you say to make it read the way they want, sound the way they want, and to pull in their readers.

I will say this, if it is magazines like take a break, that's life, those types, don't bother. You may not like the way the finished article reads. If it is a better class of magazine like woman, woman's own, my weekly, you will find the editing will be more finesse and read better.

Not sure if you know about the program on thur about penny pinching? well the lady using the coupons, she posted on mse, as she had been using the printable coupon thread for some of her coupons. Let's just say she was edited so badly by the documentary makers to make her look worse than she probably is in real life.
