Me too, and the heating is on, but I'm tied to a conference call. Hope the tea warms me up soon (cardamom, rosemary and hibiscus... surprisingly nice, although the hibiscus is a bit sweet)

Been flirting with my Aussie Hubby (long story - but he is neither an Aussie or my hubbie) - but even that doesn't seem to have warmed me up LOL.

Think I am a hopeless case

Boiler broken here so no chance of the heating going on!

I'll be out for a bit at a Governors meeting but the heat is always off in the school by then. DS1 at work and DS3 to go to cricket nets with DH so I think DS2 can go too.

Hopefully the boiler man can come out by Thursday, due to get colder here on Friday. We have enough logs and coal for 2 evenings. So somebody will have to chop logs on the weekend and I'll go get another sack of coal if need be.

  • Oooh, Crickett's coming up to Scotland! Pls let us know when and where, and maybe we can have a Scottish meet-up - too good an opportunity to miss. I note that the depression has re-emerged with the return to work. You were sounding so much happier during the festive break. It won't do any harm to keep your eyes peeled for other opportunities.

Sleepy here - the effects of driving home in the dark. Early night I reckon.
If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

Making hobnobs at the weekend now - thanks for the speedy recipe :)

Good luck for FW's DS tomorrow - if he needs any good buzz words let me know as I have a deputy head brain full of them!

Nowt happening here but got to speak to boss tomorrow as he has knocked me off a really useful course and I don't know why - don't mind if it means he will do the work but unlikely.
