Well done to your DS FW.

I had a dreadful night's sleep last night as I couldnt switch my brain off - full of panic about money, jobs (lack of) and divorce. I resolved that I would ask for a bit more money than the £15K I was going to ask for because I know that he makes around £5K a year in rent from his cottage on the Welsh Border plus I have put into that house in other ways rather than just providing some furniture. I am going to ask him at the weekend. I am going to see if he will also let me have the singer sewing machine that was bought for a tenner by one of my chums for me which I have never used although he has used it (it was never convenient for me to use it..sigh). It is an old 1920's machine that has a wheel to turn - I think he still has his mother's old treadle machine so he won't be without.

This morning I have been doing more washing up, I have done a load of clothes washing too which is drying in the living room on the clothes horse. Even the drawer on my washing machine has had a bloomin' good wash. I am making plans as to what can be carbooted and what can be sold by other means whilst all the while praying that the universe will bring me that little house that I have fallen in love with (I want that pantry:rotfl:). Today is another NSD as well with jacket spud planned for dinner (the ones from the whoopsie shelf that I bought well before Crimble).

Plans are being made - efforts being redoubled to find work, I think too that what I thought was business coaching is an effort to get me to have banner ads on my sites (I already use sites such as Affiliate Window which don't do anything to be honest). I must endeavour to sort out my websites too because I haven't updated either of them for months as I just lost the mojo and the need to write.

My days are being broken down into 15 minute bursts because I can do anything in 15 minutes:D Have a great day peeps.

I walked into the village for a break from the screen, a coffee and a chat. The girl who runs it is on maternity leave, so I had a chat to her mother, who is used to all the home-based people using it as somewhere to have a break!

I am stuck on a research paper. Not sure how to progress it... maybe go and write something different. Typically the ones I don't have to write are easy. The ones I do have to are a nightmare!

I have just come off a two hour skype chat with someone I met an age ago through networking. He is giving me a boost as he knows what it is like to be skint and he has seen so many businesses fall by the wayside due to the recession. I see it as a helping hand - I just need to start blogging again. I am feeling a bit more positive which can be no bad thing.

My head is once again brimming with ideas - a little lightbulb has just been switched on:cool:

I am working on my Armageddon cupboard and had a delivery from AF yesterday. I soaked some dried soup mix (the stuff with split peas, lentils etc and put them in the slow cooker with chicken stock and a few chicken pieces. After 8 hours I blitzed it and have just eaten a bowl - Yum. BUT I have just reread the cooking instructions and it says about 'boiling vigorously for 10 minutes before simmering, Whicj I didn't do  Should I have done that or does it not matter if they are going in the slow cooker?? At least its only me who has eaten some so far.

Should be OK, but see whether you get tummy ache before letting anyone else near it. Sometimes I do this too, and haven't had any ill effects, but they do recommend it.

Does the soup mix have kidney beans in it? Cos they are safer boiled for ten minutes which knocks out the phenolic compounds that can give you a gippy tum.

If not - the vigourous boil just cuts down on the Ahem! more windy effects slightly in the mix :rotfl: But you should come to no ill effects otherwise.

Saw boss and was very positive and am now booked on the very important course I need to be on. Then the afternoon at a meeting that was very good but has given me loads of work to ponder then do. Need some space to get my head around it so going to see if I can go somewhere away from home on Saturday to work in peace.

Am finally getting somewhere workwise I think, but my lazyself is still lurking so am winning the battle but not the war yet.

Well done FW'd DS, more +ive vibes for Monday.
