:)Sending lots of vibes for FW's DS this morning.:)If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

What I need is a bit more than a hug - I need the super-natural power of the Matrix. My oldest son (the one who has been looking for a job without much success for about four years) has an interview for TA (his first after about a hundred applications and three voluntee positions) tomorrow at 10 am. Please, please join me in wishes to a supreme power of your choice (my is the Universe) - this will change his life; oh, and mine as well because I would know he is on his way to achieve his dream and become a primary school teacher.

Couldn't get on to post till now but was sending positive thoughts for young FW - hope it works out.
Sorry to hear about your situation with OH Greenbee - take care and be kind to yourself. Hope the outlook improves for you soon Crickett - hugs and hugs to anyone else who needs or wants one0 -
Good day, peeps (;ets hope it will really be a good one). DS1, just texted that he has 'done his best', 'it feels like it has gone well' and that tomorrow he is going to the school (today the interview was with the agency) for a meeting and an interview as well. If all is well, he will start work on Monday. OH and I did visualising and are very grateful to all of you who joined with us.
Will keep you posted.
My frogs are in line and need chomping - not going too well today so need to get going.

On board with the Frogs FW - so far I have been faffing with "Fabulous Stuff" - hair, make-up, perfume, nails and heels...................... although I have persuaded 2 Pers Dev "Gurus" that they should let me up at their big seminars to tell my story - and direct peeps to the MFinThree direction.
Bargains of the day - Ankle length wool coat in navy -£1.00 and black leather "platform" heels for sexy skirts I am still to make - again a quid.
DS2 collected form playgroup - now to do the techie stuff I have been putting off. FROG 1

Well done to your DS FW.
Well done to MG too - keep going!
My new wardrobe has arrived. I'm not sure I have the space in the room to build it, but ex-OH is here on Monday to finish the wiring, and has offered to help me build the wardrobe and put up the last two shelves while he is here, so at least I'll have one room finished. I just need to work out exactly where the router will go (hopefully my dad can help with ideas on Friday) as the stupid BT hub can't be fixed on the wall like sensible ones!
Reviewing a VERY dull paper. I may need to take a break and go for a walk shortly...0 -
Quite possible, my OH has a tendency to totally push me away if sometime is bothering him and can be quite mean to ensure I leave things alone, as I'm a fixer by nature. It's very hurtful at the time but it's his way of dealing with difficult situations.
Oh what an insightful post Gemmzie. It has just given me a TADA moment about my OH and me.
Greenbee ((((Hugs))))
A PhD conference I helped to co-organise is starting this afternoon, yay! This time last year I was all shy in the front rowProgress, progress...
