Hi all and big hugs to Greenbee ande all who need them.

What I need is a bit more than a hug - I need the super-natural power of the Matrix. My oldest son (the one who has been looking for a job without much success for about four years) has an interview for TA (his first after about a hundred applications and three voluntee positions) tomorrow at 10 am. Please, please join me in wishes to a supreme power of your choice (my is the Universe) - this will change his life; oh, and mine as well because I would know he is on his way to achieve his dream and become a primary school teacher.

Greenbee sweetie I send you strength and love to deal with today. In the future I'm looking forward to the 'old' you being back. The positive, powerful, cheery girl who I first met on here a good few years ago xx
Thanks Dusty. I want to get back to being me again too.

Well done to him for persisting, and making it this far. Here's hoping that it will be life changing for both of you.

Greenbee I hope you feel a little more positive each day and just remember that things usually happen for a reason, even if that reason isn't immediately apparent! and I will quote a lyric from a beautiful song by Lucie Silvas - clicked things into place one for me, it just wasn't what he was made of.

Just like I predicted, we're at the point of no return
We can go backwards, and no corners have been turned
I can't control it, if I sink or if I swim
'Cause I chose the waters that I'm in

And it makes no difference who is right or wrong
I deserve much more than this
'Cause there's only one thing I want

If it's not what you're made of
You're not what I'm looking for
You were willing but unable to give me anymore
    There's no way,
    You're changing,
Cause some things will just never be mine,
You're not in love this time...but it's alright.

  • Greenbee,

I am so sorry to hear your news. :( If there is anything, anything at all, that the Matrix can do for you, then please, holler. We will help any way we can!

Could someone please PM with MrF's email address? I sent him a request for "the other side" and haven't heard a peep... and I am getting desperate!! :) Thanks!

Got to say, not doing overly well down in Nottinghamshire just now... really struggling to keep all the balls in the air. My depression appears to have made a return with bells on, and I am hanging on to working normally with my fingernails just now. Every other part of my life is suffering for this, so I think I need to make a decision about whether I take time off work or not. Not sure what to do. Trying to tailor life to take account of the depression, but that is not working so great just now...! :(

On happier topics, still going to the gym each day (except this morning, when I had to go to the Doctors! I can't do both unfortunately! :) ) Also, planning with hubby to go away on holiday in February on a City Break somewhere, and then our big holiday is going to be in September and I think it is going to be Scotland! :D I will be coming home to my ancestral land...! I have a feeling that I am going to feel really comfortable there. I have, shamefully, never been to Scotland at all, so I am really excited about planning it and where we are going to go and stuff! :D

Okay... back to work. Love to you all, and I will try and log in again tonight at home... if I can keep my eyes open long enough! :D

Greenbee and Crickett- hugs to you both during these difficult times.
Tenmah: Don't forget I am only a phone call away.

The downstairs of my house has been reclaimed and half the Christmas stuff put away:j
The delivery organized for today came at the 1 time I went into the garden to hang 2 throws on the line and of course didn't leave it:eek:now coming tommorrow. What is so annoying is we paid extra to have it delivered today.
Must go and feed myself all this domesticity and I'm starving.

    8oz sr flour
    8oz sugar
    8oz porridge oats
    8oz margarine
    1tbsp golden syrup
    1tbsp hot water
    1/2 tsp bic soda
mix flour, oats and sugar, melt marg, syrup and water in a pan stir in bic soda and add to dry mix, mix well, make smallish balls and put on greased tray and flatten slightly with a fork, 180oc for 15 mins, cool on the tray, you just want them golden in oven not brown

    8ozs = 225 grams

Or look for Anzac biscuits :p

And they are fantastic biscuits, i'm not a great baker but these just work every time, and you can put extra bits in as well to convince you they are healthy :)

big hugs greenbee, its horrible not to know and for it not to be your fault

off to catch up, or maybe I should do some more work...
