Hugs, Greenbee ((((( )))))If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

Thanks all for your support. I'm going to think about where my focus needs to be over the next few weeks, but weight loss, sorting the house and getting ahead with work are on the list. I need to catch up with friends and keep busy too. And then I have to do something about moving on and meeting someone else before I start enjoying being on my own again too much!
The hardest bit is going to be telling everyone that the person I thought loved me and wanted to build a future with me, doesn't actually love me enough to do that. Although I suspect not all of them will be surprised. However, this time there is no way back for him, and he knows it. And I'm going to make sure that I move on.
Gemmzie - glad you're feeling stronger. I've been thinking about you a lot today, and it has helped to put some things in perspective.0 -
Oh Greenbee, I'm sorry.
All I can say is that he isn't prepared to fight for you (2nd person singular and 1st person plural), then you need to fight someone who will. I know that may be easier said than done as he might be in a sticky situation, but you deserve to be put first.

Oh, Greenbee, I am so sorry to hear your news.
You have given him so much support to make a fresh start.0 -
Just had to log in to say Greenbee - I'm so sorry. I can't pretend to know what you're going through but please know, my thoughts are with you.
Take care of you & shout if there's anything we can do.....

We love you greenbee - enough to not let you wallow too long. But for now wallow as much as you like.
Best phrase I had after my OH left me to ................ well become the "other woman" , was "he wasn't the Man I thought he was" ................... of course in my case this LITERALLY is the case now:rotfl:
So you know we were talking about a "writers week" - well turns out one of my blasts from the past has a yacht in the Canaries!!! So get that bikini bod prepared - we could score of pretty nifty retreat if he treats me right.

Greenbee sweetie I send you strength and love to deal with today. In the future I'm looking forward to the 'old' you being back. The positive, powerful, cheery girl who I first met on here a good few years ago xxThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Ok - this is the only bit of good news that I can come up with, but ..................
Dentist has phoned and I can get my veneer put back in on Friday - woop! woop!! Is it sad that a visit to the dentist may just be the highlight of my week?

It would be sad if it was for something painful like extraction or root canal work - but when it's something thats literally 'going to put a smile back on your face!' then no, not sad at all!start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
