You can only get an amarya box if you subscribe by the 21st of the month before BUT I've just checked and you can buy the dec and nov boxes outright without subscription on their site for £20 each. The Ren set is worth £28 so you'd be £8 up on that already and the dr haushka cleanser is worth a few pounds. They usually give you a free reusable bag for your first box too but i don't know if its just first subscription or in the outright purchase ones too.

If you sign up now I think you would have just made Januarys but prob have to check with them, it goes out the first week of the month. Theres nothing on Facebook now telling people to sign up by midnight on the 21st like it did last month though0 -

well seeing as though we are all being so good at using our stashes up, we deserve a reward! :rotfl:
plus, in the spirit of moneysaving, you always know with amarya you'll be at least £10 up with the full size and boudoir prive/joliebox have always been worth much more than the amount we paid for them.0 -

I've been silently following along and it's amazing what I've found during a clear out; about 9 unopened foundations, loads of eyeliners, glosses, a couple of mascaras, half used bottles of spray tan, unopened clinique face cream(!) lots of nice scrubs and gels I've received, used once, then forgotton about...
IT'S MADNESS! Anyway, all I've bought this month is one deodorant and an eyebrow pencil; and I'm not buying any more makeup until I've absolutely got none of that product left...which is looking unlikely!0 -
Isn't it odd how the best workers are so often the least appreciated? Take my late Mum as an example. My Mum fell pregnant whilst doing her nursing training so didn't fully qualify as a SEN, though my Dad did. She worked for the majority of her life as an nursing auxiliary. She did everything the SEN's did, but without the pay. She was a good nurse - a really good nurse, with phenomenal energy. When her 60th birthday arrived - the point at which she planned to retire - she was off work with a wrist injury sustained lifting a patient.
There was no recognition from work for her, though leaving parties and gifts were the norm for all staff. She was absolutely devastated - and then the hospital contacted her, asking her when she planned to return to work. They were flabbergasted when she said she planned to retire.
She got her leaving party, with gifts, and lovely things were said about her.
But prior to that she had been there for so long that she was completely taken for granted. It's a familiar story, for sure.... repeated time and again whenever people give their all for jobs that are their true vocation.
1 UU- a tube of Avon Cinnamon and Orange foot cream. WIBA? It's a seasonal one so I can't, but when I can I will. I wish I could find a BB that smelled like this. The IN to balance it? An Avon Planet Spa Foot and Elbow Cream with Shea Butter and AHA. Avon lady also gave me a load of sample sachets...
I managed to avoid winning any toiletries in the live music club Christmas Party Raffle . Phew.
I did get first prize of a hamper though, luxury biccies, chocs, wine, salmon ... . I'd bought £9 worth of tickets though, and donated three raffle prizes, 2 x chocs and a Military Wives Choir CD. No guilt about winning this one.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0
