Ladies, wishing you all a happy new year!

Working until 8.30pm tonight then in work again at 8.30 tomorrow. Someone's got to do it........

Who has any resolutions concerning toiletries?!

Mine should be try not to get excited when I get my mitts on a discount voucher of any kind or see any glitches which usually mean me heading to the online basket to fill it up with stuff I already have. Definitely will not buy any shower gels or body lotions.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Used up a body scrub in the shower this morning and now have 7 left.

Not had any toiletries given to me for Christmas and not been tempted by any in the sales or at all. Let's hope this is a good start to the new year.

Happy new year everyone by the way. We are going round to some friends tonight which will make a change as we usually end up seeing in the new year just the two of us, although next year will be different again altogether :)

Me! Just simply to buy less - I started this challenge several months ago but I swear I have more than I started with  My resolution is simply to have fewer toiletries by this time next year.

Happy 2012 everyone. Off to brave London - hope I make it back!

I'm resolving not to to get my glossybox subscription back and to wear perfume everyday. if i carry on and just keep it for special occasions, one day i'll go to use it and it will have gone off.
  • Happy New Year everyone!
And best of luck with the toiletries resolutions.
I have decided to do what some of you do: give myself £1 to spend everytime I use something up and have just opened a savings account to put my £s into. Hopefully by the time it's the summer sales I'll have a few £s to spend on toiletries without feeling guilty. I need some sort of reward and incentive for this!!

Great idea! I do this and add it into my SPC. At the start of this month I opened my pot and had saved £284. I would not have saved anything like that amount had I not put £1 in for every UU/GA/TA. It came in really handy.

I have another IN from my best friend for my Christmas gift - Prada gift set which I am delighted with.

So on close of business for Dec challenge I have a 11 UUs and 23 INs costing me £8.95. Oh well it only happens once a year....honest:whistle:

Wishing everyone a very happy New Year and here's to a healthy and happy 2012!!! See you all next year...speaking of which I am missing the new thread? *off to have a look

Happy new year ladies, hope 2012 brings all you wish for.

I'm sorry about your situation Rosemary, I wish I had some advice for you, but like others have reiterated, we are all thinking of you and sending you hugs.

I am quite embarrassed about the number of INs I have both from sales and gifts.
I'm not sure if I could bring myself to list it all.....Ohh dear.
I am starting a new stash list from tomorrow.Haha.

I think I have also ended up with more stuff than I started with due to all these lovely recommendations and stash lists.
