  • I'm so glad the UU dr haushka cleanser was small! since I started using it my nice calm skin has gone from calm to having a mental episode in the space of 3 days :( I've now got 2 spots with another possible beginning of a spot on my forehead and two angry red under the skin spots on either side of my chin. my skin must really detest alcohol now!

Also succumbed to BS passion fruit shower gel for £2 (cheap thrill). Consoled myself by thinking "well, VALM is much naughtier than me!"

LOL :rotfl: Thankfully, I don't like Lush products. I get an instant headache when I walk into their shops - find the fragrances too overpowering.
I had a sort through my stash yesterday and have discovered I have 15 body butter/moisturisers! On the upside i figure i will be well preserved! Also a large quantity of shower gel so I am not to buy anything next year or possibly the year after! Famous last words!

Another lady after my own heart! Maybe we should start up Shower Gels Anonymous.

I need to be strong today as I have to go to Boots - MrM and Emma have an eye test there today although I feel the NEED to hunt down the No7 Beneath the Evening Stars nail colour kit because the Steel my Heart colour looks very similar to the Sephora by OPI Break a Leg Warmer colour that I have become infatuated with!
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Me too and I don't like their so called eithical status.

Anyway back on topic, does anyone have any ideas on what to do with numerous bottles of baby lotion, I must have about a dozen, bought in Tesco cos they're only 8p, but what to do with them?
I use wipes at night and don't wear much make up so not quite sure how to use the, ideas please? :D

Hope everyone has a lovely new year.

Happy New Year to you all. All the best for 2012 and good luck with this challenge.

I didn't get any toiletries for Christmas but I shall pop into Boots later today to see if I can find any cheap birthday presents.

I have no UU's to report either after being away for Christmas.

    Boots points:£39.21. Extra money in 2012:£674.59. In 2013 £603.48. 2014: £85. 2015: £0 :j

probably won't get online later today as i MUST start packing up boxes, so i'd like to wish everyone a happy sweet smelling new year!

Rosemary sending you hugs, i don't know what to suggest about your OH but please don't get pushed out of your house, if it really does get that far then please get some legal advice.

one of the boxes i'm going to tackle today is my toiletry box so there may yet be some more GA/TA but i will save them for January's list as i won't take them to work until the new year.

So far this month the UU/GA's have totalled 22 yay!, i've had a few ins but nowhere near that many. This means i start the new year with a stash list totalling 145 items which means i really need to keep tackling this list. The really scary thing? I've removed 173 items from my stash through this year.
  • Last UU of the year Boots Natural Collection wild strwberry body lotion. Too srong smelling for me.

    Happy New Year everyone:beer:
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales

Rosemary, I'm so sorry to hear this. Hasn't he said this to you before? Let's hope it was a heat of the moment thing and that things will turn out ok.

So I went, I saw, I conquered - Boots in Stockport that it! YAY me. Did buy a can of Batiste as we have totally run out but spent points on this. They did not have the No 7 nail kit left nor did they have the Nails Inc colour I wanted and as nowhere else in Stockport sells Nails Inc I was safe. Whilst sitting in the Opticians waiting for MrM though I did see quite a few SA's restocking the shelves which I was surprised at.

Did make some purchases in Clintons - fabulous Me To You gift wrap set reduced from £10.00 to £2.25 and a pack of cards at half price. Bought a calendar from The Calendar Club at 40% off and returned two blouses bought from Next as they didn't fit. Quite productive then?

Last UU of the year is a bottle of OS Mint and Tea Tree hand wash which we've been using in the kitchen. Has been replaced by Bath & Body Works Pumpkin flavour.

Have repainted my nails and am now wearing Sephora by OPI Eve-y on the Eye which is a purple colour. Nice but I have similar colours anyway so am not lustng after this the same as the previous one I wore.

Happy New Year everyone. Anyone going out? We are having a take out and will probably sit and watch Alan Carr. Take care all. xx
