Just catching up - hugs to Rosemary

I have another UU :rotfl:- OS mint and tea tree, ok so is a little cheating as it's at my BFs house and he has been using it, still counts though :p
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time
  • Hi all,

I found it very hard to resist the bargain bins in Superdrug yesterday. Loads of 49p bargains - Loreal, John Frieda Frizz ease, Neutrogena, etc etc etc, basically all good branded stuff. I came away with a roll of dental floss and some hair serum, but could have left with so much more.

I will need both items I bought by the end of the month, so feel quite good about that. Just a shame I have so many shampoos/lipbalms/etc or else I could have had some bargains.
  • You stay strong Rosemary, and hold it together. People can say dreadful things in the heat of the moment. Try to rise above all the hurt and think about what's right for you and your marriage.

I think we all wish we could make things better for you.

I took control of something much smaller today by walking out of Lush. The queue was massive and they only had one till open although other members of staff were wandering around being wacky (quite like Lush products but those shops are chaotic). After 10 minutes of waiting to buy a gift set, which appears to be the only format in which one can buy Northern Lights soap (which I sniffed in early December and liked but could not bear to be in the shop/riot for one more second) I simply put the box down and walked out. Wish I could say it was because I was resolved to stick to my toiletry purdah (did I really need soap or the glogg shower gel it came with? No) but actually it felt great.

Also succumbed to BS passion fruit shower gel for £2 (cheap thrill). Consoled myself by thinking "well, VALM is much naughtier than me!"

Happy new year ladies, especially Rosemary.

    ((((rosemary))))

I have some UU's as part of my [STRIKE]stuffing my sales buys into my suitcase and need more room[/STRIKE] packing.

Andrew Collinge Full Blown Body Lotion - Yes I WBA, does the job well and doesn't cost to much. I have another one in the stash.

Right Guard Deo - Yes I WBA nice size and works well. I have another one in my work locker.

Oral B mini toothpaste - lovely freebie but I am sticking with my Blanx whitening so WNB.

Kenneth Turner Nature Nurture shower gel 50mls - part of a gift set and used the body lotion on holiday last month. Very nice smell but WNB myself as it costs too much for what it is (unless there is an offer in TK Maxx).

I have been out and about yet again today and have been round some of the B**ts for a recky. In some of the larger stores and there is a lot of stock still left. I think it might be quite a good 75% off sale. The couple of items I have bought are still in store.

EDIT - I forgot at IN - Louise Galvin Shampoo my HG

That's very kind of you: is there anything else you have an excess of that you could donate to her? Not only would it decrease your stash but you get to help your mum out and shine your halo! :A :D

Good idea InaPickle. Sorted through my stash through and there's not actually that much! We do have a whole hat box of suncream and holiday products, 1 of soaps. These are both me and BFs combined, then I have one full of bath bombs (mainly the ones I just brought and October bday pressies) and one full of all my other toiletries. Lol I feel like I don't actually have that much:)

oooh and I threw out a few make up items that had seen better days whilst filling my dressing table. I have a huge amount of new wash/make up bags and brushes to get through too eek.

Hugs to Rosemary, I hope it works out for the best.
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales
  • Hi everyone. 2 more UU to report:

Lush Magic shower jelly - had been sitting in my freezer since the day I bought it! Have another one still in there to go through soon!

Lush Party On Shower Jelly - Again been sitting in my freezer. Really stimulating in these cold mornings we've been having recently!

And a few In's to report:

A whole bunch of Lush stuff in the sale that came to...£20!

  • A throwaway Burts Bees pomegranate lip balm, it had gone through the wash and tumble dryer and was a bit worse for wear.

Ins 2 x Mitchum deos my HG.

I had a sort through my stash yesterday and have discovered I have 15 body butter/moisturisers! On the upside i figure i will be well preserved! Also a large quantity of shower gel so I am not to buy anything next year or possibly the year after! Famous last words!
  • Just had a bath and decided to start using up a BS cranberry body scrub that I've had for 2 years. I keep trying to use it but am put off by the sickly sweet smell and gloopy texture.

Anyway, tonight took the bull by the horns. WOW! When you're using it the smell is so much nicer than in the tub and it leaves your skin feeling so soft and smelling gently of cranberry.

I'm really impressed. Even though it's 2 years old...!

So if like me you've been reluctant to use it, don't be!:j
