Oh Rosemary, you really don't deserve this, huge hugs, much love and strength to you. I hope you have good friends around you as well as on here. We're all with you in spirit.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0

You're not the only one. OH and I had a blazer of a row at about 11pm Xmas Day Night! All is ok now - sort of - but we've vowed to try to spend xmas with other people next year as we've spent the last three as just the two of us (and the dogs
) and after the Doctor Who special I may as well be on my own as he falls asleep -too much food & booze.
wish I could say all is well but after I tried to apologise this morning he said he wanted a divorce and I think he means it,been in bed crying all day whilst he is in his office working, left my rings and a cheque he wrote on our wedding day "giving" me all his love on his laptop...looks like the cheque bounced after 31 years
How awful, RosemarySending hugs.

Was very surprised to see just how much stuff there was in Lush, boxing day was wasted refreshing their site for no reason!
I know, I was on the site for an hour on Christmas Day but was in Lush Metro Centre in Gateshead on Boxing Day and there were about 10 All I Want for Christmas sets, a half-price Lush Legends and loads of other boxes and individual gifts. I managed to resist the big one and just got the Northern Lights hatbox and a few other bits.
Was really impressed with the sales this year in general - for the last few years my friend and I have gone to the Metro Centre at opening on Boxing Day and last year it was rubbish - there was hardly anything there and we ended buying full-price stuff like a normal shopping trip. We weren't going to go this year but decided to at the last minute. Ended up getting loads of things (not just toiletries!) - had a great time.Sealed Pot Challenge Number 1225

Rosemary: I'm sorry to hear about what's happening between you and OH. Take care of yourself. *hugs*
Another UU, well TA (throw away): Colourings Loose Powder. I've had this for, um, well, about 15 years! When I was a teenager I had a makeover in BS and bought it as a result. I don't really use powders, but have always kept it 'just in case'. I've realised that the time for 'just in case' has passed, then decided to throw it out, then tried to remember when I bought it, then nearly fainted!
Evidently, I still need to keep going with the decluttering! :rotfl:Please call me 'Pickle'
