Oh trudij thats just awful, how completely thoughtless of them - I often see the ones that go above and beyond the call of duty are those that are put upon and taken for granted

EVILsquid, haha I've been calling you ELVISsquid your so good for not bashing me over that, well you inspired me to cancel my glossbox too - they really do try to beg you back don't they? - and my Carmine after I peeked at yet another spoiler and saw it wasn't a very exciting one this month. I was tempted by Amarya but I've resisted so far, I couldn't see an actual box?

5 UU's to report this morning, a few sample sizes.

Crabtree and Evelyn La Sourse Shampoo and Conditioner, hotel freebies. WIB? Ummm I wouldn't choose it over other products but it does smell nice.
Clarasonic Body Scrub - Free with Clarasonic, WIB - no, nothing exciting about it, does the job.
Dermalogica Mask (came with Glossybox) WIB? Nope, would choose other masks.
YonKa Vital Defense (JolieBox?) WIB? Nice enough but too small to really know!

Im feeling really down at the mo - Ive been feeling like nobody at work cares if im there or not (unless Ive been cooking - then they do!) and I got the venue of the christmas party wrong for the weekend - wasted half an hour standing outside the hotel I was at playing phone tag with one of the other girls (the only one who would answer!) trying to find out where I was meant to be and failing - so i gave up and went home (mightily !!!!ed off having had my hair done and make up done special and bought a new dress!!) - My secret santa gift went to the party, but nobody now knows where it is, so I have NO idea who got me it or what it was.... and to cap it all - we were looking at the cards that our (pointless cos its a cheque!) bonus' go in - and everyone has a little message from the bosses - except mine, which just has their names in. Im ridiculously hurt by all of this - I dont push myself at all,and i dont make a huge thing out of anything normally - but surely I deserve at least a "thanks for all your work this year" in my card?!!! the girls I work with can be (i hope unintentionally!) selfish, so the secret santa thing doesnt really suprise me at all - I just feel bad that whoever it was who had me must think im a right ungreatful grump cos I havent said thankyou !!

not sure what hurt the most really - the sudden conformation that I may as well not exist, or that I cant even warrent a sentence of thanks from the bosses....

It's awful that they behaved like that, it's not right and any excuses even I think up are too kind. About the SS gift, just say to everybody that you didn't receive yours, so whoever sent it will know it's not you being unappreciative, but you just didn't get it. Have a dodgy group hug :grouphug:

I am the same. I have loved buying makeup/toiletry gifts for friends, and also being asked for advice of what to buy as well It's like getting the buzz without the stashing

just been to see an old friend(90)(so good deed for the day as been bad and not seen her for a while,made up a pot of daffs in fancy paper and she was delighted) as stupidly arranged a waitrose delivery from 1 till 2 forgetting it was aqua fit at 12 ...luckily(at the last min) I decided to check when it was as thought had arranged for 4 till 6 !!!!....as my sons used to say at junior school " are we cracking up for Christmas soon?":rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm going to do a blog post about them soon but i'm saving them until xmas day so I've waited until I've actually tried it all rather than just a pretty picture of whats in it. Like Drutt I get annoyed with all the ones that are just pretty pictures of the contents and I'm determined my blog won't be like that.
