I have already let them know and I am now slightly worried, I get paid the day before we go, which will be about £1900, I can withdraw £1000 (£500 day before, £500 day of travel) but I had planned to withdraw money whilst abroad.
Hmmmm, will send them a secure message now.
I wrote CS a secure message last week asking for an explanation of why this happened, but no reply as yet ... could be that the citibank honeymoon period is over for me!1st letters received on 16.02.07 for HSBC, Goldfish, Tesco, RBoS & Lloyds TSB0 -
Just phoned citibank to ask for small overdraft in case of emergencies, I was told that there would have to be more than £1250 going into the account and I told him that there was but because most of it isn't from my salary I was rejected. What does it matter where the money comes from as long as the money goes in?0

if you get someone that you cant understand,
then ask very nicely to speak to someone that you can understand,
we think it's a nightmare when we cant understand people,
imagine how they they feel,
and do they understand us, probably not,

Hi fellow moneysavers.
I'm glad to see that the vast majority of you have had pleasent experiences with Citibank.
I've had nothng but problems with my Citi Credit card.
Customer services are not that helpful & i also find it difficult to understand their customer services agents at times as i find their English can be a little patchy (One of the many joys of outsourcing your customers services to India)
I've now not been able to access my account online for 4 days, apparently a problem that they're dealing with.
Its fast approaching the point where i am seriously considering closing the account after only 2 weeks.0 -

The other money that I have going in is guaranteed every week, I did try explaining this to customer services but he just kept repeating that it has to be a salary like he was a broken record. I only wanted a small overdraft for emergencies.0 -
