Is the £10 a month thing due to start on April 1st? Should I be phoning Citibank up now to downgrade account? I don't want to loose my 2in1 Visa Debit card though.

Sorry to hear that - I was told the same by Nationwide in the past (It's ridiculous really that you need a credit score for an account with absolutely no credit  )
Have you tried the Co-op Cashminder account. That's a basic account but comes with an Electron Card. Also, other posters have raved about Yorkshire Bank and their ReadyCash account which comes with a Maestro card ..:happylove Tori Bellatrix :happylove
