  • Thanks guys, the £10 isnt really worth while for me as i dont have any cards and i never go away lol

From what i can read on the Citi website both accounts have a visa debit card so should be no difference as i have the 2 in 1 card with no overdraft at the moment - which im chuffed with btw

Me as well .... I love the fact that I don't have to worry about whether the shop / online store is likely to accept my card (Previously had Electron) ... It's fab .... :D

  • To be honest when i first applied for this the only difference i thought i would see would be the cheque book but i honestly dont know how i managed before. I have done loads of MB'ing, booked a hotel, bought some business cards and used it in shops and online as you say.

I remember we were both like kids at christmas when this arrived in the post and looking at it still makes me excited - like i said before, i dont get out much!! :rotfl:

I dont think i could go back to Electron which is what i also had

me neither, I have my mastercard, which to me is great, but I had to pay it off £500 before I could spend on it again, so this visa card is the bees knees for me, I also have a new visa electron from halifax, but why use cotton when you can use silk, it work's for me, although I don't think my SIL got the full picture, as she has a visa credit card, and she was like "well you have to pay it by the end of the month you know, or you'll got a charge" she didn't quite understand that it was a debit card, saying that they don't do visa debit card's, and telling me not to get in to debt with it, as it is so easily done these days, my is she in for a shock when she apply's for a current account.

Received my cheque book and lodgment book yesterday. I never requested it until last Friday so the turnaround was really quick. I will also be eligible for the overdraft after 3 months of paying in at least £1500.

    Hi,
will you have to ring them and ask for it, or will it be applied automatic.
    thanks

Ooooo ... that's interesting ... a previous poster had quoted paying in £1250 a month and they would still be eligible for the OD ...

Can I pay money from my abbey account into my citibank account online?

I had a look at abbey and there is a option to send funds to someone else ..

the form asks for the following info:

Their account number (I assume that's my citibank account number?)

Their sort code (my sort code?)

    Their reference (what's this ?)

    Payment amount.

I'm a bit of a nervous nelly when it comes to online banking :o
