You don't have to pay cheques in to lloyds that is just an option, you can send cheques with a payin slip to Citibank. I assume they are linked as you can use LTSB to pay in cheques.
thanks for reply i have just applied for citibank account and wondered if they were linked because if i get it was thinking can they take money out of my account to pay back to a credit card that i have with Lloyds that has gone to a payplan does anyone know thanks.

Did anyone get their £50 from Quidco credited to their Citibank account? Mine says it was tracked in December and I still haven't received it yet.

Hope fully this will answer your question

    Email to Quidco re Citibank

    Morning Quidco,

Can you please advise on the following?

I notice that Citibank is no longer on the site, Will they still pay out the tracked sales?

Is this a temporary thing or permanent?

    Thanks

    Marcellep

    Hi Marcellep,

Tracked sales will be paid out as normal. They are currently reviewing
their online marketing strategy and have yet to decide whether the
closure of their programme is temporary or permanent.

    Kind regards,
    Fiona

I also got an email about 3wks ago and they said Citi had nly paid up until Oct. So a wee wait is in order

When I called Citi and asked if they are part of Egg, they quickly advised me that they are not part of Egg. He said that Citi is part of the Citi Group and they have many companies under there umbrella but Egg is not one of them.

Lloyds just act as the clearing bank for Citi in the UK as it does not have clearing of its own. Therefore it should not be able to see or touch any of your money in Lloyds. They are completely different entities.

This article makes good reading, I think some of Citi staff dont know what the company is up to.

  • Can't say I like their online banking.

On Natwest it lists every transaction separately so you know what you've spent & where (just like on a bank statement), whereas on Citibank it just gives a running total of the amount of money in the account - is this right, or am I missing something?

After being impressed with them sending out the paying in/cheque book quickly, I'm not impressed now. I queried them about something & they've not bothered answering my question - on the phone they said they'd get back to me within 2 days; they never did. Then, I messaged them online & they just sent me a message that wasn't even related to what I asked. V. helpful - not.

Where are their call centres based?

There is an option to view it like a bank statement - make sure you click on 'account details and activity' or click on the account number in the list.

The call centres are based in India.

As Hazza has said, you can view your individual transactions just like other online banking ... I think you might be looking at the Balance Summary screen if all you can see is the total .. The blue text which shows your account number should open up when clicked on and you can view your transactions.
