still having a few probs with citibank to be honest, dont find the site very user friendly. got the cards, changed pins etc, activated cards, set up online but every time we log in it says "we are sorry but we are experiencing some temporary delays...". Anyone know why this is? Thanks x

I had the same thing - I activated my card the other day via their activation phone number (the one that's on a sticky label on the card), registered with online banking, but all I got was "we're experiencing delays etc." whenever I logged in.

I got round to phoning Citibank today & they said my card wasn't activated, even though I had phoned up their card activation line. Hmmm.

They activated my card there & then & now I can access online banking. I also ordered a cheque book as they never bothered sending me one of them.

This is standard with Citibank. It mentions in the Welcome Pack that Cheque Books wouldn't be sent automatically (at first) as alot of customer prefer electronic methods of payments these days ..

Hi and welcome to the club, you can ask us all any questions about citi and if we can we will try to answer them for you, also do you know that you have to order your paying-in book as well, this is so you can pay funds into LTSB without one you wont be able to use LTSB, you can order them online with online banking, or through phonebanking.

Hmmm. That totally contradicts the letter they sent out when they opened my Plus account; they wrote to say they had sent out the Visa card, PIN's & cheque book, & I should contact them if I didn't receive them within 7 days.
