All these people who boast proudly of their bad credit ratings, (that even Vanquis card will not accept them, quite an achievement) must have gotten their ratings from somewhere and bounced DD will have played a part. They all resent the penalty charges.
Citibank is not a charitable institution set up for the 'welfare of the underprivileged', it is just a bank like any other bank and they will **** you just the same, if you step out of line.
But, if all those people who take pride in appalling credit ratings, have turned over a new leaf and do not incur any further charges, then this is a good thing.
Thats a bit harsh. Yes I have an appalling credit rating , and its not something I'm "proud" of and , frankly , who are you to judge me? You know nothing about me or my life , and I find your comments condescending to say the least.Sometimes things happen in life which you have no control over , it is not for you to judge people who are trying to better themselves.
sam.:T Thanks to all the comps posters :T0 -
Do you need a paying-in book to deposit funds at a Lloyd's branch?0

Yes, I think so, I paid in some bank charges reclaim cheques today at LTSB and filled in my NEW paying in book and handed them over.
Does anyone know how long they will take to clear if I paid them in today? Is it normal 3 nights?0 -

I don't think you'll be able to pay in cash / cheques without a paying in book -
You can order one online - it'll take about 3 days to arrive.:happylove Tori Bellatrix :happylove

INFORMATION ONLY
I have called Citibank with regard to my cheque clearance - - - - - - -
I was told:
Cheques below £1000 clear in bank account on 5th working day
Cheques above £1000 clear in bank account on 6th working day.
Hope this helps someone !!!0 -
So if you have another account elsewhere where your cheques clear in 3 days you might be just as quick to pay the cheque in there then do an online transfer0
