Sorry to sound nagative here
But why you applying for so many accounts? Do you intend to use them all or you just out to prove a point
Hi
No point to prove - just new to this credit mallarky (i'm 39 years old by the way) but thought i'd test the water as to who gives credit etc when one credit file is screwed but the other is fine.
Its kinda like an experiment cos I really have nothing to gain nor lose and no, its got absolutely nothing to do with money. i.e. I do not need money and do not want to get in debt either so any accounts opened will be purely to get me green [0]'s.
Hope this answers your, rather confusing, question satisfactory? Some say he is a racist, others say he is a liar but the truth will always prevail...

thats quite interesting what you have found out about our credit system.
unfortunately I don't require any credit, I have found myself ina position that I do not need any credit.
but I am sure that other people on here will now be able to have a field day thanks to you.
Hi Ice - as above post states, i'm purely testing the system and if this helps others then great. I am not encouraging people to get in trouble or act dodgy but just stating the processes as and when I learn them. I know what it is like not being able to have a bank account - it happened to me for ages (used electron for years)Some say he is a racist, others say he is a liar but the truth will always prevail...

Sorry I did not mean to come across as cheeky or abusive! I was only interested to see what your aim was.
I hope I have not offened you
But what your doing has helped me, I am someone who has adverse credit.......
Sorry againIf I have been helpful - Hit the Thanks button0 -

Hehe - sorry if it sounded that you'd upset me but to clarify you never, I was only answering you so apologies if I sounded abrupt - not intentional
To be honest I don't have an 'aim' as such, all i'm really doing is leaving some footprints but for a joke (I work nights so have spare time on my hands) I thought i'd appeal the banks/lenders who refused me credit and decided to quiz them as to why, especially when i'm appealing with a copy of credit report showing their search! Kinda proves that i'm no risk so i'm throwing it at em so to speak, i.e. tell me mr Bank, why won;t you lend to me when i've attached my credit report that is blank!
Does that explain it more for you? As a result of my appealing, a couple have overridden their original refusal so thought i'd share my findings with other forum users as the info may come in handy - such as the natwest scenario - lots of people get 'accepted in principle' only to then be refused later so with my explaining the processes it'll stop people applying unecessarily....
How has what i'm doing helped you? have you considered applying to Natwest lol? DON'T DO IT!!!!
I bank with HSBC and am more than happy with their services and the fact they trusted me with a full bank account from day 1 (plus 100 chq card) so fair play to them and as such, i'll remain loyal (I pay around 13 grand into my current account each quarter so am deffo a good customer if they want me to be lol).
Take care..... if you need specific advice come let me know and i'll try to help, have lots of recent experience LOL :eek:Some say he is a racist, others say he is a liar but the truth will always prevail...

By the way - update!
Natwest cards wrote today refusing me an account after already offering me one (see post 1521 above) - I mean that is dodgy to say the least. So it worked like this;
1. I applied online (referred for manual decision)
2. Natwest wrote and refused me due to 'adverse info on experian'
3. I got copy of Experian report and it shows the search but nothing 'adverse'
4. I write and appeal their decision enclosing a copy of my report - dated 3 days after their search on me
5. They write back confirming credit card number and credit limit
6. Card arrives, I try to activate and they put me through to lending
7. Lending state card has been cancelled and my account closed - letter in post explaining why and they hung up on me!
CHARMING!!!!! All I can say is leave Natwest alone - they are a bunch of W.A.N.K.E.R.SSome say he is a racist, others say he is a liar but the truth will always prevail...

How weird, I just got a letter from Citi Gold AaAdvantage Visa with a new PIN. I got a letter in January saying NO. I appealed, they said sorry no again. So I thought i'd apply online again - just to see (last week) - today a pin came saying card be here in 5 days. I guess that means I have account - but no mail telling me limit ot cca etc as yet!
Does this mean (that I have a pin) that i've got this account then? Some say he is a racist, others say he is a liar but the truth will always prevail...

according to the citibbank website when you click on apply now for an access account, it states you need an income of £20,000 so I imagine the club wont get that much bigger.0

Further to previous post ( #1259) I rung citi who have given me a £2000 limit and an APR of 16.0% so can't be bad - thought i'd let you know how I got on!Some say he is a racist, others say he is a liar but the truth will always prevail...
