As I do. But surely the principle expounded by many contributors on here about the illegality of Orange raising their prices and never using them again as a result will be stretched to the limit as BT have done precisely that themselves.
And because of their principles they can't switch to Vodafone, of course, who did exactly the same as Orange and rounded up their prices mid-contract in October.
And OFCOM still haven't acted to declare any of these changes illegal.0 -
i have been with orange a long time well when i used to be a elect engineers for dare i say dixons group about 12 years ago, & they are getting worse & worse each year.
as i have had clients rant down the phone at me thinking i am not getting my phone when in fact i have had my phone next to me & with full signal etc & it as not rang once & this has happend over 20 times i know off, & what do orange do nothing worth while to fix it but oh sorry it might be a system fault or a tower fault in your area ( bu!!!!!! ).
& it costs me work and with me being a sole trader i can not afford to lose work or word of mouth saying i do not get my phone etc, & all i have had is a sorry & maybe £5 knocked off my bill twice. so i think this is it for me & if i can move i will move to who ever i can maybe o2 next time, as i hate companys doing the sneaky on us end users who keep them going & pay there wages.
sorry if my spellings & grammar is poor ( that is why i do pc support ).

100% with you for switching because of coverage. Having both Vodafone and Orange, there are areas where one or either doesn't work, but Voda has a higher success for me.
The current furore singling out Orange is OTT and conveniently ignores the same clauses in all network contracts seems OTT to me.0 -
cheers mate i & am sorry if a rant on a bit as you can understand money is money at the end of day & with me working for my self, i can not really afford to lose money or clients.
well i will have to wait & see what happens & if at all i can move but i have along contact leftso maybe i will have to bite my lip & suck it up & pay them the extra money, but not with out checking in to it first.

Looks a like a reasonable deal, but the losers on here like to have a 'free' phone, even if the price of the phone is wrapped up in a long 24 month comittment andincreased monthly rate.
Who is that with?0 -
can you say SOME LOSERS please, as not all of us want a free handset......
cheers
that deal is ace !!! however i would like to have 600 mins as i do a lot of phone support.0 -
Glad I stumbled upon this today. Fired off an email to executive.office@orange.co.uk about it, stating a few things from ofcom and that I want to cancel, so we will see! Usually they respond pretty quickly or forward it to the correct people. I think the price rise is a bit cheeky :eek:0

The losers are the ones that are ranting and raving about a less than inflationary proce increase, I wonder how many were in favour of the public sector workers and their industrial action ? After all they pay more work longer and get less, where as with the orange deal, you pay more and get the same.0 -
thats fair but i will keep out of that one as i do not follow the news or know a lot about that one he-he.0
