Gambler
anybody know a really cheap mobile contract as I like the look of this £25 all in offer.
I'm looking at Coolnewmobile as you can get a 12 month free line rental cashback deal on Vodafone with 500 mins and decent handsets
As long as you get the cashback, you would have mobile, broadband, landline and calls for £250 -
i've had the service for 6 weeks now and have had a more reliable service than f9 and also getting a faster connection speed0

can't see where it includes mob, int, 08 numbers ..
Only calls to 01/02 numbers are inclusive. All the tariffs for chargeable calls are here :
http://online.vodafone.co.uk/dispatch/Portal/appmanager/vodafone/wrp?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=template11&pageID=VA_0009
A set up fee of 3p a call applies to non geographical and mobile calls. Call duration is rounded up to nearest minute.0 -
I am interested in changing to Vodfone. How can I check my usage, I never have problems with NTL, but worried in case capping is put in place at later date.
Thanks0 -
NTL is now Virgin Media & they definitely have caps on usage & their call charges are definitely higher than Vodafone. They also only do 'free' calls weekend & evening. I have had terrible trouble with billing last few weeks I was on NTL because of poor transfer of finance to Virgin. Would be worth checking speed you get with NTL now(instructions elsewhere in this thread)- if OK may be worth sticking with them- mine was 512 Kbs & Vodafone much faster & never goes down.0

I have been with Vodafone about 2 weeks all is good apart from being unable to access Yahoo Groups. I can receive e-mail from members but cannot reply.I can get on the main Yahoo site but when I click on Yahoo groups in their menu unable to proceed. Anyone on vodafone broadband with the same problem,or if not with the groups can they access Yahoo Groups by typing in Google
Thanks

Also, do they get in touch with BT to switch the landline service or is this down to me to sort out?
Any feedback on the service is welcome, let me know how your finding it as I'm considering switching.
Many Thanks!
Switched to Vodafone from Talk Talk and have a much better service now, really pleased.
They also informed BT of the switch so no hassle there either.0 -
Hi,
Vodafone have been excellent and as a long time Demon/BT/Primus customer I couldn't be more pleased.
I was almost afraid to change supplier but it couldn't have been easier.
The only (very petty)gripe was on my activation day I was promised a text to advise I was live. This didn't arrive until 24 hours later but they did email me so luckily I could check from work.
Had to call their Tech Support folk today(first time in nearly a month) and was really impressed. It transpired to be problem with my computer but they did everything possible to help.
Mobile signal was bad so I asked if they had a landline I could call them on... "No problem, I'll call you straight back". And she did!
Unfortunately I didn't catch the ladies name and tried to send and email of appreciation via the Voda site(failed).
Credit where it's due I feel. I'm more than happy I've switched.:)0 -
Hi
I'm impressed so far with the comments on the Vodafone at Home service and am thinking of switching to them.
However, does anyone know if you can still use the other telephone call providers (such as 1899) to make cheap calls?
Thanks!0 -
I must be the only person experiencing a problem. Requested Voda at home 15/3 and given initial start date of 30/3. Still not connected for Broadband! have already paid £25 for router & first monthly payment of £25. Calls connected 4/4 now in daily contact with Vodafone who are trying to establish what the problem is. It is now 14/4 & I still have no BBand access. They have promised compensation one I am connected as what is the point of paying £25 and simply receive calls only?0
