Hi Moomin & Seasidegal - I'm having a great time and will really miss my sister when we come home however they already have flights booked to come visit at the beginning of Oct.

So yesterday we ventured out to a carvery which was £4 each and baby was as good as gold for 30mins :). Sister just getting used to feeding times etc though baby is boss as we all know:).

Sister's in laws are coming round this evening with lasagne and we are providing wine and dessert. We're also planning a wee walk in the fresh air with baby.

Our flight home is tomorrow night and we should be in Belfast about 8.30 but I better double check to make sure we don't miss the flight.

On the money front I have not overspent yet out of the budget I had set aside for my visit but it is getting quite close but I can juggle money around if need be.

    Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

    Evening all

This is a very late check in for me but I wanted to get my Sept budget (YNAB) all sorted for the month ahead.

Today I popped to Mr Ts with sister and helped her stock up for the week and then Mum and I caught our flight home at 8.30. I got my car at the airport and it feels like one of the brakes was sticking on but I will get OH to look at it for me.

I have a mini budget this month as I'm away on holiday from the 13th Sept -
    • Food - £60
    • Entertainment - £40
Obviously I have other budgets as I have appointments with the beauticians and dentist this month but I'm not going to add them here otherwise I would have a very long budget.

I joined the NSD thread this month and because I so don't want to spend money tomorrow it is going to be a hodge podge of things left in the larder for lunch tomorrow.

How are you finding YNAB? I thought I was pretty good with money/budgeting before, but I'm finding it incredibly helpful.

Hi Moomin, I think it is brilliant and am finding it very useful. I'm constantly switching money around because I forget about money I've given to charity or odds & sods etc which is a real eye opener. However since starting YNAB I've had money left at the month rather than more month than money:).

OK on the money front I've had a spendy day but it was all necessities (apart from chocolate:o). I was back in work today and spent -
    • £10 on my Xmas dinner reservation,
    • £2 on tea club,
    • £24.88 Asda.
    Spends left - £74.22

I'm only in work 1/2 day tmw and then I'm out and about all day Thurs:)
  • Xmas dinner?

    Hi all

Mmmm today hasn't been very productive. It took me long enough just getting showered and dressed but I'm not complaining it is sometimes nice just to veg.

I have plans for tomorrow which involve deciding what I'm taking with me on holiday:). I tried that before and just gave up but as I'm away this day next week I really need to get cracking. I'm on leave from next Friday but it's not a good idea to leave it until then. I did spend some money on suncream and insect repellant. Mosquitos love me so I've bought a repellant with 55% deet - I'm taking no chances:).

OH has invited his niece and her hubby round tonight but although I get on great with them I just don't feel in the entertaining mood but I know that it will be great and I will have a good night. It is almost 5 and I still can't decide if I'm going to make something or buy in.

I will update on the money front tomorrow but all seems to be ok :)

    Hi all

OH and I found a voucher for a local Indian restaurant which we kept meaning to use but never did. Last night we ordered takeout and the only money I spent was on a bottle of wine. It was a lovely evening and I need to get out and socialise more.

Today I managed a run:), my knee played up just at the end but I haven't been running regularly and have been neglecting my physio exercises so I'm starting them tomorrow.

I made lunch today which was a pasta, avocoda, lime & mayo concoction I found on the internet - honestly it was a waste of a good avocado and I've felt ill since I tried it (can't say ate as it ended up in the bin).

I tried on my clothes for my holibobs and apart from 1 pair of shorts everything fits:D, The only thing I need to buy now is some new underwear but I have M&S vouchers & maybe a couple of vest tops.

OK I have 4 days of work ahead and hopefully they will skip by quickly.
