Hi Greying - it's great to have things to look forward to:). At the rally today there should be vintage cars, tractors & steam engines + a load of tat that goes along with it:)
I noticed that there is a new Bravissimo shop opened in Belfast. I know that you can get bras etc cheaper on line but I can never get the right size so I don't mind spending a bit extra to get measured and not feel like I'm being strangled. I'm not sure when I'm next in B'fast but probably at the end of the month (next pay day).
OH has asked me to get my butt into gear so that we can go to the car thing - so I better make a move - it's a bit damp out there.
Have a good day everyone:D

What I did was went there to find a style I liked that fitted and bought one on the day, then went to Brastop (via TCB/Quidco of course!) and got the rest of my bras from there. They stock loads that Bravissimo do but much cheaper :money:0

Cheers Moomin - I've seen some gorgeous styles online so I will go & see if they have them and do the same as you
.
Back from the steam rally thing - I was so so so cold. It rained the whole time and was cold and windy. I was soaked through to the bone. I still had a good time though and found the food tent with free samples. I did spend some money on jam (rhubarb, honey & ginger - £2.70) & some buns (£3). As we were there a bit late the bun lady gave me some extra - result.
At one point I was so cold that I nearly broke the 100m record for sprinting to a stand to get hot chocolate & a coffee for OH. It was £3.50 for both but worth every penny just to feel my hands again.
Total spends £9.20.

Oh I missed a day updating yesterday - I better confess on NSK thread:). I took nephew no 2 to judo last night and stayed because he was getting graded for his next belt which he got:D - proud Aunty. Obviously we had to have ice cream to celebrate:o (£3.40)but I think it doesn't count because it was a celebration ice cream;)
I feel a bit rough today and it started with a headache last night. Yesterday a lady came to my desk and she told me this was her first day out of bed with the flu....why oh why did she feel that I should be her first port of call with her germs???
Eating front - I don't think I've posted much recently about my ED but this is just a kick up the butt to say that although I am 99.99% recovered - I have to kick any thoughts of dieting into touch. It is easy to forget that I can't go on a diet like everyone else. I tried intuitive eating again and lets just say that after a week of not feeling hungry at all I then went nuts and ate my body weight in food I'm not all that fussed about:o. I can't diet, when I try intuitive eating I probably restrict my eating but don't think I am - so back to structured eating I go.
Money front - I'm still waiting for a receipt from the hospital so that I can claim it back. If I don't get anything in the post I will ring them tomorrow.
Have a good day everyone.

Hey Munchin - well done you for working out yourself about intuitive vs structured eating. You know what works best and is the best for yourself
Good to hear your positivity

Thanks Greying - I just have to keep reminding myself to trust that structured eating is the way to go:). I've also been reading the Minnie Maud recovery guidelines which is saying that I should be eating 2500 calories a day. It seems quite a lot to me (hark my ED voice) but I get her reasons because I've been a restrictive eater for so long and i need to repair my cells etc.
I saw a funny thing yesterday. I was heading home from work and the car in front braked sharply - so did I. In the field to my right were 2 gorgeous white horses - with pink manes and tails:rotfl:. The Gio d'italia went down that road this morning which explains the pink horses. My favourite was the fluffy spray painted pink sheep:D and the grass on the roundabouts are pink with pink bikes. I do like a bit of pink.
I'm heading to bootcamp tomorrow morning & hopefully that will spur me back into exercise more regularly but life is getting in the way at the moment.0 -
Evening all,
I was so exhausted today but I made it to Bootcamp, I just thought that I need to get back into a routine. It was tough going as I wanted my bed but stuck with it.
I went to mass and then spent a few hours with my sis. I also decided that as I feel so shattered I would sleep and just rest today...which doesn't explain why I rearranged my room, moved a wardrobe and cleared out all my junk. I did a mountain of ironing and also had time to run my Mum to the shops:). I think the tiredness is a mental thing and I just need a break.
I have my lunch in the fridge ready for tomorrow and hopefully it will be an NSD.

Morning all
As you can see it is silly o'clock - 5.27am. I woke up before 5 thinking it was later but it isn't and my head doesn't want to go back to sleep. I know this is all because of mad things in work at the minute and it should all settle down next week.
Yesterday we lost electricity for most of the day and as premises officer it was a wee bit stressful. Work is a bit stressed at the moment and I didn't need that on top - staff wanting to go home, customers wanting things we couldn't provide...
I ran out of hair mousse yesterday - not a crisis but when you have hair like mine (mad curly) it develops quickly into a fuzzy affro. I stopped at Mr Ts and got mousse & some other bits and bobs £8 which should do the me the week.
I'm also really really sore and stiff. I hadn't done much exercise in 6 weeks apart from running. I did the Bootcamp and now I am in pain but it should getter better as the week goes on.
I know my post is a bit woo is me but I know that come the weekend life will be good again.:D

Morning all
I can't believe how quickly time passes and I've missed updating my wee diary. I'm lurked on other diaries but didn't have much to say on mine other than I'm tired, stressed and need a break. However I've come out the other side and things are back on an even keel.
I took leave yesterday and I'm not back to work until Wed:T and even then I'm only in work in the morning. The busy time has passed and I survived for another year.
I got my date for my colonoscopy (can't spell it) which is the 13 June!!. I'm quite surprised how short the waiting was for it because I ended up going through works private health care thing as I had waited so long for the initial appointment but went back on the health service list for the procedure. My friend had it done and said it was horrible and undignified but I will probably be nervous that day but as long as they can tell me what is wrong with my stomach I don't care.
I went to the shops yesterday and it was great:). There is a new Bravissimo shop opened in Belfast and I got properly fitted and bought a bra. I'm taking Moomin's advice and will buy future bras on the net a bit cheaper but at least I'm properly fitted and it feels great:D

Hi again
I don't post for a week and then twice in one day:o.
I popped to the shops today as I really fancied strawberries & asparagus - not together. I went to Lidl first and their veg & fruit was so amazing I bought it all there and then I went to Mr T and got all the other bits and bobs. I think I have enough to do me the week.
My friend (she lives in Scotland) phoned for a catch up earlier and guess what - I'm going over to stay with her:) - not until the end of the year - Oct/Nov but it is something to look forward to and it looks like we're going to do a wee race together so I need to do some training.
I have a load of jobs to do round the house over the next few days. I have the lane to cut and the hedge to cut, OH is busy fixing my strimmer.
To Do
- Strim grass
- Cut hedges
- Weed garden
- Hoover car
- Clean house
I've also been looking at my June budget (can't believe we're nearly 1/2 way through the year)
June Budget
Purse - £23.82
Food - £110
Odds - £70
Credit card - £1650
