ooh, that was quick - 80 squids, very well spent :D

I must crack on and get some tiles for our bathroom. I know I'll forget, and then the plumber will need them and I'll end up paying out too much. Must get back into the :money: vibe :D

    Morning all

I didn't manage to track my spends this week - I have no excuse I just didn't do it. However I'm back on the bandwagon:). I have quite a spendy day ahead as I need to buy kitchen tiles and about 3 birthday presents.

It is also OHs birthday this month and he has suggested going away to our favourite hotel so I'm up for that :).

    Planned spends

    • Brother birthday - wine
    • Niece birthday - small toy & clothes
    • Mum's birthday - ??
    • Tiles & grout
    • Groceries for week ahead.
    • Liquid gold

On the positive side - at least this is the bulk of the shopping done for the month ahead.

    Budget March

    Diesel...............
    £x/£240
    Bank ...............£128
    Purse ..............£??

Hi Greying - thanks for popping by - love your recipes on your thread.

I'm having a nice day so far - I went for a run this morning - 2.5 miles. I find it hard as I'm so unfit and it is cold out there but I keep thinking to myself that soon it will be spring and I will regret not having the miles put in so that I can enjoy my running in the good weather.

I went to mass and am now sitting with a cup of tea and planning my meals for the week. I didn't structure my meal plan yesterday as I was so [STRIKE]lazy [/STRIKE]busy and I found myself nibbling here and there and not eating my lunch to 3:eek:. I was starved and wolfed it down. I have some meal plans to print of from my recovery website and I have found it good to have these plans to hand.

I'm starting a new exercise class tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it. Once I have done the induction I can go to classes early in the morning which I really prefer - I'm a morning person so I'm up with the lark but in the evening I revert to sloth behaviour:)

Plans today - try Homebase to see if they have the grout I need. OH is working to 6 so I will do some ironing and pooter about a bit.

    Morning all,

I cant believe it is Wed - where is this week going to??

So I started my new exercise class/course - mmmm it is not for me. I went Monday night and it killed me which is fine because I know I will get fitter but my bad knee was not happy. I then went to physio yesterday and he said it was up to me if I carried on but he didn't think I should. I went back last night and had to put ice pack on knee. I kind of hate giving up as that isn't in my nature but I've got to be realistic. I love running, I only do other fitness classes because I couldn't run so I sent the gym a wee email to thank them but it wasn't for me. I feel so relieved :D

Money front - doing ok, making my own lunches and not buying anything from the shops is a help. I did spend money on sunday but that was on grout for the kitchen so happy with that. Today will not be an NSD as I need some fresh fruit & veg.

I have a meeting at 10 so I can spend time pottering round the house and doing a bit of ironing. Have a good day everyone.
  • my first meeting is at ten too and is in belfast yay. it's so lovely when you know there's no point in going to the office first and can have a later start

Hi INOD - it is great & I have another late start today :) but it is back to porridge tomorrow.

So it is pay day today and money has been sent to the various pots and bills are primed and ready to head to their new homes:(.

It is my Mum's and OH birthdays this month and OH and I are going for a weekend in a nice hotel. We are going out for dinner for my Mum so I have money set aside for these trips.

I have a separate budget for exercise and I'm not allowed to spend any money on clothes as I have enough .....repeat - I have enough:D. I'm going to the hairdressers on Sat but hopefully I shouldn't have too many unexpected spends. I can't wait to get my savings going again.

I'm keeping track on the £5 a day challenge and today should be an NSD.

    Afternoon everyone,

Sitting here watching F1 qualifying - I know it is a repeat but I was busy this morning.

I've been to the beauticians and had my eyebrows waxed - I always leave it until I'm a true yetti:). I also got a haircut, I got loads chopped of as it was starting to annoy me. Finally I bought a bunch of flowers for my Mum.

OH is in the shower and once he is sorted we are hitting Sainsbury's. Leaving it as late as possible to pick up a reduced chicken - he is learning the ways of MSE:).

I haven't touched the budget as today's spends were from my gift and beauty budget.
