    Hi all

I'm back to my normal self:o. I'm shattered and so ready for my bed but don't want to end up tossing and turning so I will leave it for a wee bit. Today was day 1 of structured eating and the first goal is to make it to 100 days (23rd May).

I spent £4 on headache tablets, 99p on a notebook to plan my eating & £2.50 on a sandwich.

I'm now going to spend the next half hour looking at nice warm holidays :D

    Morning world,

I'm me again:D:D. Funk has lifted and although still tired I think I'm just run down. I have a coldsore started on my lip which is always a sign that I need to take care of myself a bit more.

So on the spends front I thought I was skint:o this month but I've just realised that 2 refunds I was due are sitting in my paypal account so I have transferred them across to my bank account this morning:).

So for the rest of the month I have -

    Groceries & entertainment - £58.22
    Swimming - £8.80
Diesel - £22 but only needs to last to Thurs 21

I have a big long list of things to do round the house this morning so I better get myself into gear :)

    Today's plans -
    • clean kitchen and mop floor
    • clean living room & clean out wood burning stove.
    • clean bathroom
    • hoover hall
    • mop out utility room.
Once I have all that done I'm heading over to Next to pick up my new suit which I hope fits.

Ok I will be back later with an update on how I get on this morning.

    Hi all

Everything done and dusted:D. I also managed to make it over to Next and collect the suit. I've not been brave enough to try it on but will do that tomorrow.

I also went to Lidl and did a wee shop and made lasagne for tonights tea:).

    Morning all:D

I've been to circuits this morning and mass :A. I now have to tidy up the bedroom and prepare for tomorrow as it will come soon enough.

OH is working so I have the house to myself. I really should be working on my interview bits and bobs but will leave it to next week as my sister is due up in the next 1/2 hour.

    Morning world:D

Oh I'm dosed with the cold and struggling this morning. I made breakfast but couldn't taste it.

Yesterday was such a busy and stressful day at work as we were really short staffed. I was supposed to go out to lunch with old colleagues but had to cancel as I was on my own. On the positive front I saved myself £20.

I tried on my new suit and I wasn't sure about it. It wasn't tight but I'm a loose fitting type of girl and it is quite a slim line suit. OH and sister both say it looks great so I'm sticking with it:). You would think I was just after the compliments:D.

I've already been to early morning mass (lent) and the road was slippery and I couldn't see anything because of the fog but it looks a bit brighter now.

On the money front I've asked to rejoin the 1% at a time challenge. With my debt that equates to £21 ish for each 1%. I'm hoping that for every £20 I'm thinking of spending I will re think it and put it towards the debt.

So todays plans .....work:( and that's kind of about it. I missed circuits yesterday because I had to work late but I will get there tomorrow.

OK time to put on the makeup and face the world:D. Have a good day everyone.

    Hi all

    It's Friday :D

I've done the bank shuffle this morning as I don't get paid until Tues and I wanted to check that I could survive until then.

So money is like this -

    Purse - £23.40
    Bank - £51.50
    Diesel - £180 (new month:))

I'm marshalling at a race tomorrow and meeting up for lunch with fellow volunteers so I'll have to budget £20 max for it. Tonight is my usual takeaway with OH so that's another £10 and I suppose I need to factor in another £10 for odds and sods over the weekend. I should be able to do it and I'm looking forward to setting the budgets for next month.

    Morning all

Up early to head to a race so need strong coffee and plenty of warm clothes. Tues is payday and I need to make sure that I don't do the usual and spend all my money at the start of the month.

    March plans

I have 3 birthdays to buy for:eek: so going to get them out of the way at the start of the month. I've budgeted £60 for this and I hope to spend less than £50
. I'm on leave a few days so that might save me some money on fuel costs. OH has just told me that it is his friends 40th birthday & he thinks it will be a night at the races. I will budget £50 for that just in case. The month hasn't even started and I've spent my money in my head:o.

Last night was our usual wine and take away night. OH says he will give me money but I'll believe that when I see it:D

    Spends left -

    Purse - £23.87
    Bank - £31.50
    Diesel - £180

When I get paid I will sort out my evelope system which seems to be working quite well at the minute.

    Morning world,

I'm looking outside into the garden and there is snow on the ground:eek::). It's only a light covering but when does spring start???:D

I had a great day yesterday, I marshalled at a race which had more runners than ever before. I went for lunch with a group of friends afterwards and it was nice to chat and have a lazy afternoon.

I spent £10 on lunch and then bought a chinese for OH as I was stuffed. OH gave me £20 towards food on Fri and last night (and there was me saying he wouldn't:o). Maybe he's secretly reading this diary:o.

So the budget is now sitting like -

    Spends left -

    Purse - £37.38
    Bank - £11.50
    Diesel - £180

I'm going to try and make my purse money stretch until the end of the week. Wish me luck:D

This week is my final car loan payment:T and knowing my luck the wheels will probably fall of but it is the guts of nearly £300 that will be staying in my account:)

I am going to buy the Sunday mail today as Delia has some recipes in it. Yes I am a sucker for all cookery books. I have a long day of revision ahead which I'm not looking forward to but putting everything down on paper should stop it running round in my head :).

Plans today - church, quick flick of paper, revision - feet up:D
  • Hi Munchin sorry not been around much recently - hopefully that's me starting to get back on track now!:o

Loads of snow here this morning ... it had stopped by the time I got up but is now coming down quite heavily again  - hope it stops soon so I can get Maisie for a nice walk somewhere.

Congrats on making it to the last car payment :T what a great feeling that must be & wow to having the extra to put towards the debts each month :)

    Have a lovely day
    Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
    2016 Sell: £125/£250
    £1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000
    Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
Debt free & determined to stay that way!

Hi Risin - good to see you back:). I've been keeping an eye on your diary as I know how poorly you've been so hopefully it is on the turn for you:D.

Between you and me - don't be letting on to anyone:D. I got an e-mail this morning to say that I had won money in the Lottery. For the time that it took me to open my computer I was so hoping I was a millionaire but it was £10. I know the odds of winning the lottery are slim to non existant but I'm happy with my £10:D.

I have just spent from 10am this morning working on my interview questions. Ok I was interrupted a few times (it didn't take much to distract me). The good news is that the roughs are done and now I get down the fun business of tweaking. So many friends in work have offered their help to critique my application so that has forced me to get it down on paper today.

My sister has been bringing me gallons of coffee and my 2 wee nephews are playing next door out of my way and keep coming to tell me that they won't come into the kitchen where I'm working as they know I'm busy.... children's logic - they are disturbing me to tell me they are not distrubing me:rotfl:.
