    I can't believe the F1 isn't live again this weekend - that's the 1st 2 races this year that they've not shown ..... not good enough:mad:

I might have to take the lappy upstairs tonight & if I'm awake early enough I'll watch it online:) .... oh my - just looked at Sky*Sports and it starts at 6:30 am  that's a bit early for a Sunday :o. Will see if I'm awake but not setting the alarm!

Hope the snow goes soon! We've got off lightly here - it's snowed everyday this week  but only a couple of inches so have been OK - really glad I got the winter tyres now!:) Keep warm .....

Hi Risin, - I set the radio last week to come on at the start of the Australian race but then I fell asleep half way through:o. So today I have been out and about but I have kept the car radio of and I've avoided all the news so that I can sit here at 2 and watch the race. It isn't the same as watching it live but it will have to do. Did you manage to get up??

I made it to circuits this morning. It's a amazing the motivation you get once you realise the dreaded bikini is going to be dusted of. Ok if the bikini is too scary then it will be a tankini:).

I'm sure at some point the weather is going to change from freezing cold, wet/snowy weather and I will have to consider removing my 20 layers anyway:D.

Today I've done the circuits class, been to church (long), met my brothers family, wrapped a birthday present & cleaned the living room and kitchen. So I'm going to look forward to F1

    Morning all

Last early morning mass done for lent:). I get to stay in my bed for an extra hour tomorrow but then the clocks go forward this weekend anyway so bang goes that hour:).

Salary now in bank :D. Budget for April tweaked slightly & put into envelopes -

    Groceries & odds - £180
    Diesel - £[STRIKE]180[/STRIKE]/£111.93
    Kid's swimming - £30

I sat last night with a budget spreadsheet working out how much I will pay to each debt to clear them all by the start of Sept. So I have the plan which I may surprise everyone by sticking to:rotfl:

Oh well let's tighten our belts and get on with the month:)

    Morning MSE world,

I'm a bit too fond of the duvet this morning:). I've just popped over to the 'Debt free by Xmas' challenge and amended my debt figure - basically I'm starting again:o but it will still be gone by Xmas.

The downside of booking my holiday is that I want to go buy new summer clothes but that would be bad:D.

I have 5 Easter eggs bought. I just decided to buy the smaller and cheaper eggs as everyone gets far too much chocolate and they were cheaper.

I need to be up and away soon as I have a 60 mile journey ahead and I don't know how the snow is in other parts of the country.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Evening MSE world,

Just watched Ant & Dec:D, I love that programme. So it's the weekend again and in N Ireland we get Mon & Tues off:T

I went for a run this morning (3.5 miles:)), and then hit Mr Ts. I spent £32 and then when I got back to OHs he had forgotten to buy tin foil, mushrooms and other odds and sods. I popped up to the local shop and spent another £7. So almost £40 spent today but that should do the pair of us for the week.

Tomorrow I'm at home with Mum and we're having a lovely Easter dinner which I am so looking forward to.

I also spoke to my sister in England and she has booked a flight to come home for my Mum's 70th at the end of April so everything is ticking along nicely.

    Have a good Easter everyone:)

    Evening everyone,

Oh I'm tired:). I was scared that I would sleep in because of the hour change so hardly slept at all:o.

I went to circuits, and then had a lovely Easter dinner at home. I'm shattered now as I was on my feet helping with dinner and making copious amounts of tea for my family.

OH is away to the pub and I have the house to myself:). I've joined NSKs April challenge as I have to get back into the budgeting. Tomorrow I don't have any plans but it would be nice to go for a hike with OH.
    Happy Easter:EasterBun

    Hi all

I've think I've found my cheapest car quote so far. It works out at £293.92 which covers social & business use and £30 cashback (if it tracks) which would mean = £263.92 :). This is a lot cheaper than last year.

I went out for a drive with OH and you should see the snowdrifts round the coast. I immediately came home put on the kettle and looked at the webcam for my holiday:).

OH & I stopped at Lidl and I popped some odds and sods into his shopping so today is an NSD courtesy of good boyfriend.

    Hi all,

I can't believe how quickly these days are skipping by. I've just watched the National but I didn't bet on it so was nowhere near as excited as my Mum (her horse came 5th):D.

I was working this morning and I think I earned about £50 - I'm not sure as it has been 5 years since we had overtime. The morning flew in and it was a good laugh.

I really don't have any other news. I got my my rates bill in and it was about 50p off £800:eek:. It is what I had expected to pay but you always hope it might not be as bad. I can't complain as my colleague has received hers and it is £2100. April is the most expensive month for me but at least I now know what the bills are.

    Hi MSE world :),

I managed another mornings overtime:), so more money towards the debt. I was busy working on the money spreadsheet again.. I know I get a bit obsessive but the debt free date will be the start of August and I can't wait.

It's my OH birthday on Tues and I haven't bought him anything yet not even a card:o. We've agreed that when we are next away at our favourite hotel I will buy him dinner but it doesn't feel right not getting him anything now so I will hit the shops tomorrow.

I was at my sister in laws house today and she was telling me about the new outfits she'd recently bought. I can't wait until this debt is gone and I can go to the shops and buy a new handbag/frock/necklace etc because I like it and I have the money for it. I was a bit jealous of her. I miss shopping :o for 'me' things.

Not many plans for tomorrow. Next week I'm off Fri & Mon as my sister is home for my Mum's birthday soooo looking forward to that.
