After I had done all of the above, I popped to town and got steaks and pepper sauce - so basically budget is gone:o. Hopefully OH might realise that food costs money.

I also spent 3 hours helping OH in the garden - so I'm happy but knackered :D

    Morning all,

Well I have just updated the spending spreadsheet and made a big payment to my credit card (can you tell it is pay day:)) and for the first time since starting this diary my debt is smaller than my savings:D.

I was going to keep the credit card payment to the end of the month but I decided to pay it early in case I :D started frittering:o.

OH serviced my car and it cost me £40 in oil etc but I need new tyres so that will be about £120.

So spends for the month -

    • Groceries & odds - £200
    • Kid's swimming - £30
    • Birthday - £10
I pay my gym fee in one go so not counting it in the above.

    I better hit the road:)

Hi Mara - thank you for your comment. It's fantastic to be that bit closer to the finish line:).

I've been very very tired recently so I've taken a few days off work to try and feel better. However today i ended up strimming my lane, weeding the garden, poisoning some weeds. Doing a ton of ironing and tidying my room:o. I lay down for a wee sleep earlier to get my 2nd wind.

I think I was doing so well in my mood etc that I've probably just done too much. I also hit a snag on the eating front. I tried to lose a few pounds and ended up eating tons:o. I tried on some shorts today (not worn since last year) and they wouldn't meet. Ah well onwards and upwards.

Thanks Mara - I knew it couldn't be me - there had to be beasties in my wardrobe:D

Well confession time:o:o. As you know i have been a bit down/tired of late and how did I make myself feel better??? I hit the shops:o. I had a great day out on Friday with my sis and I got a new pair of shorts, a dress and some tops. I didn't go too mad and I haven't added to the debt but it means that by the end of the month I could be living on fresh air:)

I also turned into a serious fritterer - oh I like that book/mag/running shorts etc etc. So now that I have confessed it's time to reign myself in and get back to the debt free path. I have found the debt free halo has slipped to my ankles so need to get it placed back on my head:D.

So back to tracking every little penny and logging it on here. I have probably pushed my debt free date into Sept but I'm getting there.

Today I managed to cut the hedges, pick up a parcel for OH and now I need to clear out my room again!!.

Spending plans this week are -

    Tues - NSD
Wed - £4 karate for nephew
    Thurs - NSD
Fri £15 wine and dinner with OH.
    Sat - ?

Yikes, it's only been a few hours since I posted and I'm confessing to a spend:o however I also got some money back so not so bad.

I picked my nephews up at 3pm and after a bit of pleading from them I took them to the play park. I couldn't sit there for an hour without going stir crazy so bought a magazine and then gave them 20p each for a freeze pop (I'm so generous:)). So £2.05 spent. I'm going to circuits tonight and I need to buy milk afterwards. However on the earning front - I got a letter from last year's car insurance people and although it was written their special brand of gibberish I worked out that they had overcharged me. I think the gibberish was to confuse me so that I wouldn't claim the overpayment. So a cheque for £6.08 is winging it's way to me.

I'm also trying a knew eating plan. It's not a diet but I'm trying to eat 5-6 small meals a day so that I don't get hungry and binge like a mad thing. Wish me luck:).

    Morning world:),

So finally spend last night was £1.19 on milk. I've looked at the budget and I have £150 to last me until the end of the month. This is for everything :( (except diesel) but I'm looking on it as a proper challenge and something I can get my teeth into:D.

So no Amazon, no ebay, no FRITTERING:o.

    Budget - £150/£

I had breakfast in bed this morning:). My wee nephew stayed and brought me a weetabix with milk (he brought himself a chocolate digestive:D).
