    Morning:D

Today is my first day back in work since last Wed. I didn't sleep very well as I was worried about sleeping in. Yesterday was quite productive on the money front - ok i didn't make any but I managed to cancel 2 direct debits that I didn't need.

I returned £33 of clothes to Next which I bought in my down phase and which I didn't really need or suit me.

I did pop to the shops but they were necessities (sort of). I went to my local grocery shop and spent £8.37 on necessities (salad, bread chicken etc) and then I spent £4.72 for my Uncle who is in a nursing home.

I visited him yesterday and he was at a hospital appointment so it was a bit of a wasted trip - I did leave him the chocolates:)

Time to get ready for work & then circuits tonight.

    Morning world:)

I should be heading into work but I'm procrastinating:o. I think I will hear about the results of my interview today which I know I blew but you never know. I don't want to be waiting at my desk for the dreaded phonecall while everyone is watching.

So on the money front I cancelled another standing order - I'm on a role. I think that because I felt I had a bit of extra spare money I could relax the hold on the purse strings but I really can't. I have a holiday in Turkey to save spending money for by Sept. I want to go to Italy in Oct with friends and my sister wants me to visit her in England at the end of Oct. I want to do something fabulous for my 40th as I will be ED free for over 2 years and debt free for the first time since I was about 18:o.

I really need to be budgeting. I've said before that when I'm debt free I want to visit more places. I should be debt free in Sept but the above needs to be bought and paid for before then.

Ok time to get dressed and hit the road.

    Hi all

Ok I fell off the radar a wee bit but back again. I've been a bit ill but on the mend again:). A bug was going round work the last few months and I've managed to avoid it for a while but it got me in the end.

Well I got the expected news on the promotion:( but then I got really good news. Although I wasn't high enough on the promotion list this time I'm next on the list so I should be on the move within the next 6 months:j. My hands were shaking when I read the letter. I really thought I had blown the interview and it will finally be a decent pay increase. However I have to settle myself as it could be Xmas before I hear.

I have had a massively spendy day but it was all necessities. I spent £125 on car tax and £126 on 2 new front tyres. I have £22.12 in my purse to do me until Wed when I get paid. I have to go to the dentist on Monday and go back to the tyre place as well as the alignment on my car feels a bit wrong.

So that is a quickish update and I've paid another £60 off my debts - slowly but surely:)

    Morning world:)

Still not feeling 100% but not as bad as I was. This is great for the budget and for weight loss as I can't be bothered going near the shops and I'm only eating because I have to rather than because I fancy food.

I did get round to having a massive clear out yesterday. I went through all my papers and tidied them up and binned loads of papers that were out of date and no longer needed. I tidied up my room and changed the beds in the house. I then sat down shattered :)

My sister is visiting today and is going to colour my hair. I bought the dye ages ago when it was discounted. I have no other plans except to read papers and hopefully I will be grand for work tomorrow.

Oops forgot to put down my budgets for July (get paid on Wed) -

    Kid's swimming - £30
    Hair & beauticians - £60

    Presents - £50

Beauticians is high this month as it is my best friend's birthday and I want to get glammed up for it:). I have 2 birthdays to buy for as well.

    Morning world,

Back to work yesterday and my stomach was still feeling a bit tender but settled down last night. I went to dentist in the morning for a check up and clean and that cost me £19.96. The dentist were trying to get me to sign up to a dental plan with monthly payments but as I don't tend to need treatment I will ignore them.

I popped back to the garage & had my tyres realigned yesterday morning - so I was very productive before I even got to work. Last night I went to circuits and after that I met a friend and she gave me £30 for my old diet stuff which I was going to ebay eventually...:o. I told her I didn't want a penny but she insisted - so I'm £30 richer.

Today I'm hoping to go for a run after work. I don't plan on spending any money today but you know about my best laid plans.

It's time I hit the road. Have a good day everyone:)

    Hi all

It's pay day today :D and I've been to the bank this morning and will pop my money into the designated envelopes for the rest of the month.

I went to Tesco on the way into work as I was out of some necessities - deodorant and hair moouse being the most important (at least for those sitting beside me:rotfl:) and stocked up on groceries - £22.65 spent.

Plans for the month - July

    Grocery budget: £22.65/£150
    Odd budget: £xx/£50
    Debt repayment: £ /£200
    Savings:£ /£150
    SFDs: 0/20

I think this is also a 5 weekend month which is usually very painful:o.

    Hi all

I had a few more spends this evening.

I bought coffee/biscuits/milk for work so will be claiming that all back. I spent £4 on nephews Karate lesson, £3 on treats for family £3.29 wine. I got £7 change from the shop and they included a £2 coin so that goes in the savings pot:).

Plans for the month - July

    Grocery budget: £0/£100
    Odd budget: £0/£40
    SFDs: 0/20

I had a very sad evening. I went to the wake of a family friend and obviously I wasn't looking forward to it. However it was nice to see family even under those circumstances. I had a bit of a munchy time when I got home - emotional eater.

Anyway 2 days until the weekend.:)

    Morning world,

I stopped at Mr Ts this morning. I really must stop this and spent £9.95 but will round this up to £10. I know that I will probably be getting a take away tonight for myself and OH - so that will be more money gone.

However on a positive note - I have just put £50 into my Xmas savings and I have £300 in that pot now

    Hi all

I've joined NSKs July challenge. I really need to get motivated and I'm nearly there :). My DFD is going to be 28 August 2013. I need to find £550 over July & August. My sister owes me £50 but I'm not going to count this as it may be a while before I see it.

I had a great weekend with OH but he is working today. He is on leave next weekend and we should be able to do something like go for a hike. I watched F1 today and it was fascinating waiting to see if anymore tyres were going to explode.

So with NSKs challenge - I need to have a declutter, achieve 20 SFDs & declare when my DFD will be.

I have plans out this month. I'm going to a friends birthday and need to buy her a pressie (something nice but cheap) and it is also my nephews birthday and again it will be something nice and cheap. Apart from these 2 spends I don't have any other extra plans.
