No, they don't have to, but bad press costs. Sometimes it's cheaper to absorb the cost of a mistake than it is to lose customers. That's pretty much what it comes down to.I also ordered one on the off chance

Confirmation email, no cancellation email, ordered 'accepted' but for software, money pending on credit card (checked via online CC banking)....

Recieved my cancellation email in the last ten mins or so. Just said it was a pricing error, they were declining my order and hoped I buy from the site again soon!!0

I went for the £129 LXDirect one Order confirmation e mail recd 14.36 yesterday which clearly states
"A100" laptop with Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 PR427A5
Nothing since - still showing as order accepted on their website.
My debit card payment is going through - bank showing available balance as £132.50 lower than actual balance0 -

Same as you I got in early I think 12.56!! have had confirmation email and nothing else since.

Can they change it without notifying us first, if we hadn't checked online order status we would still be under the impression the laptop was on order from their initial email confirmation??????????
