    I just logged into my LX a/c and an hour ago it told me that they were processing my order. i've just checked it now and the "status" box is empty!

    I requested my order be cancelled when I saw it was Vista, emailed them and they have done it not problems.

    What that should say is FORMER customer experience manager.

    It's now clear that none of us will be seeing our laptops....

    How do we stand legally about keeping goods sent to us in error and gaining a refund??

    I wouldn't turn down a free copy of vista or ms office :D

    I've had no correspondence from littlewoods at all since placing the order at around half two yesterday.

    See stage 4 of my earlier related post in this thread (posted immediately below), then kindly move on to stage 8 (though you are permitted to use the phrase "Complaining to Watchdog" in at least one reply)...
    Cracks me up whenever we see a misprice on here...

    1. Everyone wades in.
    2. Some wade in for LOTS (Ebayers)
    3. Everyone takes screen scrapes.
    4. Lots ask about the legal standing.
    5. All the armchair lawyers get flushed out.
    6. Order gets cancelled (SURPRISE, SURPRISE)
    7. Much bullahaloo....a lot of noise about Trading Standards
    8. Everyone moves onto the next misprice.....return to step 1!

    Yes, first email said accepted
    tried to take a screen print but no luck so I cut/paste order stating laptop etc
    into spreadsheet
    did this in a hurry couldnt find notepad????

    Just received that email, this was for the £149 laptop.
  • Remember people, we all know that Littlewoods have realised that there has been an error & have had sufficient time to notify all the customers that it was an error & cancel the order. HOWEVER, this is the legal bit, if after all this they fail to notify us of the error & still send us the software...they are then legally bound by the contract as per T&C:

    3.2 Whilst it is our intention to keep our website up to date and error free, product description or pricing errors may occur. If we discover such an error after you have submitted an order to us, we will contact you prior to accepting your order with the correct details.

    &
    2.2 ....Your order will be accepted by us (and a contract will then be formed between us) when we despatch the goods to you. Title to the goods will pass to you on delivery.
