Morning folks,
I ordered a £150 laptop yesterday at about 13.00hrs, using a barclay card. Very soon afterwards, I was unable to access my littlewoods account. I recieved an email confirmation stating that my littlewoods account has been activated but nothing else.
I just called Littlewoods up, and was told that the £150 laptop was an error, and should have been software, but orders had been stopped at some point yesterday. I didnt keep my order number, and was after the security checks was told that my order was not being processed.
I have cancelled, after confirming that no money was being taken from my card.
You should be receiveing a confirmation email telling you that the order for the £150 laptops will not be processed.
Shame.

I didn't receive the first email this seems to be the second confirming the order and the delivery details.

I think I'm going to call them and cancel as I really don't want the software.

I bought the £219 laptop from LXdirect had confirmation email but no second email as per their T&C's, so I checked back on an order I had placed with them on 2/1/07 and only ever had ONE email confirming my order and no second one??
Is this just to cover themselves as you dont get a second email anyway.:shocked:

My order is still active but again only showing software, still going to hold out though fingers x'd like reddwarf2002 said we may get something out of it

Can they just send the software without letting me know my order has changed from a laptop to software

i ordered a england football shirt from debenhams direct and they sent me a handbag!!! rang them but couldnt exchange it as it was out of stock so i returned it for a refund. could just put it down to human error!???

I reckon its a stunt to get sign ups, when we ordered off LX Direct the laptop you had to wait 21 days, yet suddenly when they have sorted this so CALLED error they now have the laptop in stock for the right price available for next day delivery so they must have been aware of it how can they suddenly take all these orders at the low price and then jack the price up and have loads in stock.. yeah right..
