    I dont think so, i think this was just an error cause the software is showing 21 days which is what the original item was suppose to be.

  • I had a confirmation e-mail @ 09.34 to say the 'laptops' were coming 21/02/07 but then i checked my account with Littlewoods it said goods not sent and i was credited back my money.
    Always looking for a bargain and to help

    I still think its worth a punt. If they actually send me out software...I'll be retaining it and phoning right up to let them know that they have forgotten to send out my laptop with it.

    Like a previous poster said, I get the impression we will be in a better position if they actually dispatch software without notice of an order change. We will have paid for an item clearly advertised as a laptop on their site. They will have taken payment for that, and then failed to supply the goods advertised. Has to be some leverage there. Especially with screen caps from each stage as proof.

    Still, I would be very suprised at their foolishness if they did actually let it get that far!

    Well I am confident that I will not receive my laptop.

    Now, be that due to negligence or a less honest " mistake " doesn't really matter, the one thing for certain is the way Littlewoods have handled this matter is a disgrace and I will not be dealing with their company/s again.
  • yeah you will - we all do if there is a bargain to be had. unless you have actually ended up out of pocket if the right deal comes up you'll take it. maybe not next month but maybe sometime in the future

    I noticed in my order it now states

    MICROSOFT WINDOWS VISTA HOME PRE ONE SIZE ONE COLOUR

    If they send that it will be going right back, that isnt what is stated orginally in the order. Fair enough if it wasnt a laptop as stated and a mistake I can accept that but I have no desire to line Mr Bill Gates pocket with a bloated OS, I am quite happy with XP

    i just called littlewoods - they said their systems were down....but when i said i was just checking to see what was happening with the Toshiba laptop she laughed and said we havnt been advised of what we are doing yet....
    Just have a little faith

    Nope, you are wrong, I make a decision and stick to it, I will never again deal with DSG Group ( Currys, PC World, Dixons ) either... I will never by choice deal with a company that has an 0870 help line. ... at any price.
