If they try to deliver just the Office software instead of the laptop I was thinking of telling the courier to back it to Littlewoods rather than signing for something that I haven't ordered. :think:

i ordered from lxdirect this afternoon,am i going to get software or the laptop.it says on my confirmation email
1 "A100" laptop with Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 PR427A
Bit confused.delivery 20th feb.what shall i do.

Send the software back within 7 days or complain to Littlewoods when the laptop will be delivered to complete your order.
I am sure you will receive an email from Littlewoods before then as to their intentions.

Probably not yet. It'll be 'reserved' but not 'taken' as such.

I'm in exactly the same position madkid. Log onto LX direct and view the order, bet its the same as mine, order accepted but no mention of the laptop itself. I am hoping that they contact me before they dispatched the software.

I have just checked the Littlewoods site and it says payment has been taken....I have checked my bank and the money has been taken out. The order looks to be only for software though

I ordered the £219.00 laptop from LXDirect had confirmation email from them stating "A100" laptop with microsoft windows Vista home premium edition PR3937.
Complete with order number and everything, printed everything out so have copies of my order, on checking my order it has changed like everyone elses to software....

What are our legal rights, if we have any. Can I demand order be honoured as I have order stating laptop?

I can't understand how you and other posters fall for the theory that an abbreviated description means Littlewoods are in the business of supplying software only.

Do a search on the site and see if you can find any cracking deals for software
