Actually i'd say Littlewoods taking the money now is a good thing for buyers, it gives you more room to wrangle yourself something. If they have taken the money for the items you ordered - A laptop+software. And if they indeed do deliver 'something' then you got them by the proverbial balls.
The fact they've let an apparent mis-price/c0ck-up get to the stage where they are actually charging you, given it has already had to have manually been confirmed is perhaps an indication of how inept their management is at dealing with this crisis.
If they take my payment, and send me software i'll be damn sure to stick my fangs into Littlewoods.0 -
Do you reckon that littlewood bosses read these threads in order to gauge opinion as to their next move ??We are the change we wish to see.0

my tracking on Littlewoods states order in process....
lets keep our fingers crossed, nothing ventured nothing gained0 -
The amount pending to come out of my credit card was just above the price so it looks like they've taken my payment!Always looking for a bargain and to help0

Incidentally I can't and haven't been able to open my acocunt details or order tracking all day.

If they're taking all these payments, they are really screwing up BIGTIME. I'd be hopeful if my payment was taken, more reason to raise chaos if they don't send this out.0

1. Everyone wades in.
2. Some wade in for LOTS (Ebayers)
3. Everyone takes screen scrapes.
4. Lots ask about the legal standing.
5. All the armchair lawyers get flushed out.
6. Order gets cancelled (SURPRISE, SURPRISE)
7. Much bullahaloo....a lot of noise about Trading Standards
8. Everyone moves onto the next misprice.....return to step 1!

I put the cost of the laptop onto my existing LX direct flexible account so I wouldn't have to chase them for a refund if it all went pear shaped, but maybe they would have more obligations to fulfil if I paid on my Debit card? Does it matter how you pay?
